No I'm feeling slightly more positive today - what a week so far. Roll on the weekend for some relaxation and catchup tv :)

Im all over the place today as I'm in work from 8 and then at tech 1 - 9 :( Not good for food!

Anyway I'm doing the best that I can today!

    B: Mango, Pineapple, Melon
    Muller & 25g Porridge Oats

    L: Mugshot

Snacks: Velvet Crunch (4) More Melon

Tea: Possibly another Mugshot or depending on the time and form when I get home maybe a baked potato with beans

    Good luck to all today

Oh ! Wanted to mention - I've not been drinking my usual amounts of water or green tea this week and I can fairly feel the difference............... So need to get back on that as nothing is moving this week!!!

Made mushy pea curry tonight n boy am I stuffed! Loads nicer than a jar or curry and chippy tea craving banished

I made the mushy pea curry too- unfortunately OH found out what was going into it before I made it but didn't see me make it (looks a bit odd in progress!), so ate it and we both enjoyed it. Made tons so having it again tonight with chips and the last of the curry loaf.
Hope those that are feeling down are a bit perkier today :)
well done on all your losses too, I am trying really hard for a loss this week but struggling, normally quite a cheerful sort but having one of those paranoid no-body likes me days! Left my old job 3 months ago and although I have tried to stay in touch with them all by popping in with cakes, sending birthday cards etc have found out that I have not been invited to the Christmas doo :(
Feeling really sad as the girl who has arranged it I considered a good friend, she has stayed at my house etc and I have been there for her when she has been down. I suppose I have to move on from them but was there for over 10 yrs and didn't think I would be forgotton so quickly.
Anyway I will stop feeling sorry for myself now and apologies for my winge! I suppose I feel you are all so nice on here it is easier to say to you than to talk to anyone else and I am so upset am worried I will cry if I mention it to my family!
I am going to have a nice bath now and a cuppa, always lightens the mood!

Aww, really sorry to hear you're upset- that feeling of friends doing things without you is horrible :( It's understandable that you don't want to speak to your friend about it but I would say it's likely that she either just didn't think of it because you're not there anymore or else thought you would already be going out with your new colleagues - I very much doubt it was deliberate. Facebook is great for keeping in touch with people you don't see much, so worth having an account even if you don't use it much. Also, if your new colleagues are reserved why don't you take it upon yourself to be social secretary and organise an xmas do and/or other nights out etc?

Scarily I think I'm the smallest I've been for a long time already - dug out my smaller size jeans n embarrassingly there's wear patterns at the top of the legs, where ive basically squeezed myself into them before succumbing to a bigger size... Yes I shared too much I apologise
Going to buy smaller jeans tomorrow I think as an essential buy

If you think that's TMI you obviously haven't been around here very long :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Buying smaller jeans is a great feeling - I bought 2 new pairs of the Asda bum and tum jeans at the weekend - only £18 and high waisted to banish the evil muffin top, I love them! :D

Lol by wear patterns I actually meant holes :$

Curry I must admit I was dubious myself but I blended the peas/beans/ tomatoes before heating so it just was a orangey lumpy liquid - I made people try it then told them! There's none left here people earmarked it for lunches today :/

Iantanna I'm with you on the lack of water effecting things that's my challenge today drink more - n not go out as ill be weeing past myself

Think I need to investigate hexb list as I'm sure I seen on minimins someone say they had a pitta?! Maybe am old post though

New jeans ordered from next - gone for next size down from where I started n the size smaller again because Im interested in how much smaller they are xxx

  • Hi all!

Hope you all have a good day! Please can someone enlighten me about this mushy pea curry?!! I loooovvvveee mushy peas! (My tummy doesn't though so usually avoid)! Sorry to share that.:D
  • Anon I made mine mainly as an experiment and didn't follow all the recipes online as Im a tight wad and hate wasting food
    Mine was
2 red onions grated and sweated in fry light
    1 tin beans
    1 tin mushy peas
    1 tin chopped tomatoes
Curry powder - I used tikka as I had it in the cupboard (added the powder to the onions)
I blended the tins with a hand blender before adding to the onion
Heat through and I served mine with
Sw chips - rice - fried onions - oven roasted veg (not all of these but that's what people had it with)
