Catt, what’s happening with your test results?
Beanie, feeling it for you, hope you’re all right.
Magic, your chicken recipe – is it fresh or tinned tomatoes?
TIE, big hugs – really hope your Mum is ok.
Smokies, sounds like a real nightmare but very impressed youdidn’t lose it food-wise!

Great to hear about everyone’s losses, very impressive and
inspiring. Thanks for sharing and your support. Hugs to anyone who needs one.

Inazuma - sorry I phoned earlier & the receptionist told me all came back 'normal' which I guess means my thyroid is ok (then why am I so tired!!), which I'm glad about, but I don't know what that means for my progesterone - it should have been 'high' if I ovulated on cycle day 14, so I guess it wasn't which matches with me being on cycle day 26 now & I still haven't detected ovulation :( Seeing the Dr next Wednesday to talk about the next step.

DD was on about babies earlier - she's obsessed by them at the moment - and I asked her if she wanted a baby brother or sister. She nodded yes & when I said 'well you'll have to pray for me then', she got all upset & gave me a massive cuddle - almost like she knew what I was talking about. Bought tears to my eyes!

Anyway, instead of eating my way through today, thanks to lantanna I haven't had anything unsynned or 'forgotten' about just because it's WI day & instead of having a pizza for dinner (10.5 syns each) I've saved that to syn for tomorrow as I've had my syns for today & had a superfree mushroom chasseaur & rice instead :D:D:D

Well at least that's one thing crossed off the list, Catt. They often just do this process of elimination which takes ages and can be very frustrating as they gradually say 'nope, it's not that'.

I hope you have a good talk to your doc and things keep moving on. Stay strong, and I know it's just about impossible, but try to stay chilled and positive - it's the old thing about people who give up trying and the day they get an adopted baby, they find out their own is on the way!

BTW I have only one child (long story involving appendix) I went through all the IVF stuff, baby number two just didn't happen. But one of my best friends has no children and was desperate for 'just one baby', so I realised I should be thankful for my 'just one'..

Sorry, you can wake up now!!

Oh I know, and I'm very grateful for my dd - I wouldn't be without her - I almost feel like I shouldn't be investigating because I've already got one & there are plenty who can't even have that, but I still want another so badly (maybe it's because I was an only child!)

  • Hi all

Inazuma you can use either but fresh tomatoes ideally as less liquid

Skintcatt I know this could be stating obvious is there anyway you are mega anaemic though am sure they would have picked that up

I have energy levels like the Duracell bunny but mine went down to normal level for people and OH made me go to get them checked out Turned out I was extremely anaemic and needed iron transfusions they were surprised could even get out f bed

I take GALFER which is an over the counter iron supplement and works really well Not trying to be medical in slightest just mentioning

Went to weigh in tonight it was like the Marie celeste 6 people

I had lost 1.5 lbs considering I was a week on a cruise

Reason for mentioning is that although was shocking o holiday I was success expressing before I went and for the 4 days since back including the stir fry most days and I know that has been my saviour it really does make a difference the 2 thirds super free food hope everyone had had a grand day not had chance to read back all will do in a mo

    Magic xx

Thanks magicbucks, but I don't think so - I've been taking folic acid (which is iron isn't it?) for 12 months plus a healthy diet since at least June, thanks to SW. I'm sure the Dr will suggest it if she thinks its a possibility, thank you xx

  • Hi All,
am I too late to join the 6 week challenge? please can you add me to the list Shala-Moo - put me down for 6lb please - if I'm not too late!

I have been trying to stick to Slimming World but been really busy these last few days as my husband has been made redundant (we knew it was coming) and I have been doing loads of job applications for him, CV amendments, filling out forms for the jobcentre etc!!

I have only lost a pound last week and the week before so since I started up again 6lb in just over 3 weeks, am happy just to lose a pound a week at the moment.
Hope you all have a good night's sleep, best of luck to all for the 6 week challenge :)
