Sorry haven't updated this week but everything as gone t*ts up. Our house got flooded on Friday evening, lost most of down stairs, including carpets, sofa, washing machine etc..... Trying my hardest to keep most things SW, but its very disheartening, and at times I feel like just grabbing a take away.... so far I have resisted and using a few of my ready meals from the freezer...
just now trying to sort things out - hoping to get back to a little normality next week.

Aiming for 2lbs this week. Any loss will be new numbers thoughMaman I meant when the meals say - fish sw chips and mushy peas? Like in the pack etc? Peas aren't super just free and I can't eat salad with that so I said I'd have a bowl of pineapple as a starter before the meal so I had my super free and then could eat the meal and leave free if full? My friend reckoned pineapples a pud so eat it after?
Or example two? If I'm having a sandwich for lunch with salad on etc i worry its not enough super free so would have fruit before it to make sure I get at least a 1/3 in and then can leave a bit of sandwich if I'm full but still have my super free ?
In my head it makes senseI know the key to ee working is the 1/3 super free so in my head if there's a chance I won't eat the 1/3 after then I eat it before so its definately in
think I'm a weirdo
But yeah my friend says eat the free meal and then snack on fruit later as and when hungry
It makes perfect sense to me too. It may be a bit 'unconventional' but if you want to start your meal with fruit then that's your choice. You could equally start with vegetable soup or melon&ham which would be 'recognised' starters. Your friend's idea would work too but only if you were hungry enough to snack on the fruit later. If you missed out you'd be short on SF for the day.
What I would say to you and kim is that I often average my SF through the day rather than get it into every meal. I can do it fairly intuitively now but I used to have a food diary arranged in columns (HEXs, SF, free and then a weekly 'bank' of 105 syns to subtract from). If I could see that the SF was looking low I might snack on a quick piece of fruit (I find bananas and satsumas are the easiest to gobble down) or, more likely, do masses of veg with my supper.
My meal out last night wasn't too bad synwise. Starter and main were fairly healthy. I had a small slice of mixed fruit pie but passed on the custard or cream so could have been worse. Tonight I'm at a carvery so although plenty of veg and lean meat I know there'll be roasties and often cauliflower cheese. I have to keep telling myself that it's only a couple of meals in a week. All my lunches and breakfasts and other suppers are SW friendly. Apologies for rambling on but I need to convince myself.;)
Today's EE:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for teas
L: HM lentil and vegetable soup plus fruit if hungrycarvery
Syns: gravy and any oil lurking in carvery plus some wine syns.0 -

Oh poor you, what a dreadful thing to happen. Well done for at least trying to stick to SW. Hope a bit of normality returns very soon.:)0 -

Its only a 1lb and you could have that off tomorrow depending on loads of things so don't beat yourself up about 1lb!
Though if I could only take my own advice when I do it lol0 -
