Have been given 4 large marrows that I didn't know what to do with. I asked on the Old Style Board and they gave me some great ideas. Made a ratatouille thanks to Maman :T
Got to be freezable as no one else will try it and I can't eat it all in one go. Not sure that I want to do Chutney or Jam for obvious non SW reasons.

I have SW tomato soup in the slow cooker just now. I had a glut of tomatoes given to me so I am having a go at this and see whether it is any good. Dinner was awesome as had new potatoes from my friend's garden and ham with broccoli. Delish
. Still have enough ham for another meal so that's great. DD wanted more and I was a tight a r s e and said no as I am a bit skint just now and wanted it for a 2nd dinner. Ended up she was stuffed anyway and didn't even finish what she had.

Have been sulking due to 1lb gain
but still plodding on.
Whilst clearing my wild patch otherwise known as my garden I found a plum tree full of fruit, been busy picking today but not eaten any but hubby has and very nice so will have some tomorrow.
Food today;
B - weetabix, milk, coffee, water
L - pasta, toms, cue, lighter than light mayo (1)
T - chicken curry & rice (hubby made so no idea on syns involved)
HEA - milk
HEB - weetabix
Syns - 1 + whatever hubby used, hoping not too many.
Nearly had basmati rice but hubby burnt it so he stuck arborio rice in the curry :rotfl:, different but nice. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Anyone else tried a Girl called Jack's recipe's? Got the tomato, brie & courgette gratin in the oven right now - 26p per portion, though I used a whole courgette rather than the half in the recipe. I'm counting the brie as a HEa though technically you can't. I rarely eat cheese, so don't mind a little cheat once in a while.
We had the brie & bacon risotto the other night which was lovely and also 26p per portion - and I still have a chunk of brie left over for another recipe.
Monday, as usual is my 'hungry' day - probably just because it's right before WI, though I think I've done ok & not indulged too much. Fingers crossed for at least 2lbs tomorrow0 -

Morning all:j
Today is d day fingers crossed I have lost 1 lb and get the one stone award
To be fair I have had a really good weekend but that does not necessarily mean it will happen especially with a 4 lb loss last week so lets see
Then it's a break of a week and back for another 6 weeks countdown to lose the next half a stone and I am there
Very best of luck to everyone getting weighed today and here's to everyone being on straight and narrow this week after the bank holiday weekend:grouphug::grouphug:0 -
Oh WOW good luck Magic, fingers crossed
I'll join you in the 6 week countdown if I may? It sounds like it will start on my first day back at school if I'm right? Next Tuesday? Then I'm counting down to half term so it will be one week longer, but that's ok
Good Luck with WI xSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Good luck, Magic that's great. I need some inspiration and success! I am doing SW online and it's a bit lacking in something, so people's stories here really help.0
