Evening all, a bit overdue, but I hope everyone enjoyed the bank holiday weekend. We had glorious weather here, so I spent the day at the park playing badminton with my DD's.
Weigh in day for me yesterday and I lost another 4lbs, I also got SOTW and a lovely big bowl of fruit, was quite surprised as I never usually lose anything in week 2 (think of the biggest loser for those that watch it) so was completely chuffed to have lost such a large amount.
I haven't eaten many carbs in the last few weeks, no bread or pasta, and only sw chips once. This is how I feel I work best, it is easier to control my diabetes, and judging from my weight loss my body seems to like it too.
I know there are some who are struggling, so please don't think I am rubbing noses anywhere, I just don't want people thinking I am cheating the system...
Anyway enough of that, well done on those that have lost, even if it is a smaller amount - a loss is a loss - and its better then nothing.
I have spent today at our local children's theme park, walking loads and squeezing myself into some rides (that are specifically designed for children - and smaller bottoms) There is nothing like this to keep you on the straight and narrow. The girls were treated to chicken nuggests and chips, ice lollies, sweets. I did cave in at the end of the day when they reduced there bags of candy floss, I shared half the bag with DD2, have just checked on Minimims for the damage and an avergae sized candy floss is only 5 syns, so all in all I've had a good day, taking in my own salad and drinking 3 litres of water. I need to lose 1.5lbs to get my 1 stone award, and would really like this is 3 weeks.
Hope everyone else is doing ok, I will go and chaeck back through the posts.0 -

Cracking loss and your SOTW award and no one thinks anything at all or for one second that there is any nose rubbing being done
Unless we all thinking of become the eskimo branch Of the MSE SW thread :-)
I can only speak for myself but I am thrilled for you people on this site as you know yourself support each other and celebrate and commiserAte whatever the occasion requires
Great willpower on the day out0 -
Brilliant magibucks and congratulations!:T
Fantastic loss becks and feel free to boast all you like:T. Lots of people do 'tweaks' of one sort or another. I know loads of people who cut foods out completely either because they don't agree with them, because they know it hinders their weightloss or in my case because I can't resist certain things so it's easier to do without completely.;)0 -
Thanks a million Maman
Wide awake but at least lasted til 6 today reckon its all the healthy eating :rotfl:
Have a brilliant day everyone and best of luck to all weighing in today
As mentioned yesterday anyone who wants to join Frogga Inazuma and me on a six week countdown stating w/c 9/9 go for it
More the merrier It's not necessarily a literal countdown as in buy one from class it's more a 6 week focus when kids are back etc to get us in good place and people can set mini targets which they can/ cannot declare in advance their prerogatives :grouphug:0 -
Had a good Green day yesterday, only had 3 syns but as I'd gone over (quite a lot) over the weekend I really need to hold back on the syns until WI on Thursday am.
Having an EE day today:
B - bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans
S - banana & Mullerlight banana & custard
L - Scrambled eggs on toast (HEB)
S - grapes
D - Spanish chicken; strawberries & FF natural yoghurt
HEA - milk in tea
Syns - chorizo in spanish chicken - 2; ice lolly 3 = total 5
