Well done for not caving in last night frogga, there must have been something in the air. For the first time this week I became fidgety and kept imagining what I could eat and get away with, I was working myself into something totally crazy last night I am ashamed to say. This I'm sure is where the addiction to food comes in. But I did resist which was something, I still went to bed in a proper strop - even when I should have been congratulating myself! Just doesn't make sense.

I have WI tomorrow, so am only having water to drink now for the rest of the night. I WI at 7.30pm tomorrow which is a pain as it is so late but I will have a sneaky weigh in on my Wii tomorrow morning to see what to expect. Will only be having a yogurt and fruit to eat tomorrow to limit the damage - I really want a magical first week, I can hand on heart say I have been 100% on plan.
  • Thanks for the support everyone. It's just so disheartening seeing the numbers go up instead of down! I started at 13st 5lbs. Got down to 12st 13lbs in the first week. I'm now 13st 2.4lbs. I don't think I'm eating enough and I'm not getting my HEA choice in either so I'm going to ruthlessly plan my food this week and stick to it like glue. Maybe I'm sabotaging myself...
  • Hi folks. I have been awful recently and have gained nearly a stone :o. I noticed that we have just over 19 weeks until Christmas and I am challenging myself to get rid of 46lbs by then and that will be a nice round 5 stones I have lost all in. So I need to lose an average of 2.5lbs each week. If I am angelic then I can do this so I am going for it. First weigh in is on Tuesday night but not expecting much as I have been awful and only really going to start tomorrow. I normally go for weigh in on Wednesday nights but I have folks coming for dinner on Wednesday so need to go to Tuesday class this week.Christmas is 19 weeks on Wednesday and I intend to look fab in a little black dress by then :).
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

2.5lbs is hard to get every single week as life etc sometimes gets in the way, but good luck to you & it'll be a lovely goal to get to & into that LBD! :D

I'm going out with friends tomorrow night & this is the menu...

I'm guessing the best will be House Salad with dressing on the side - but which could be best for me to add to it (in terms of the way it could be cooked) - salmon fillet, slices of rump steak or chargrilled chicken? I'm thinking the chicken might be oiled before cooking - but then so could the other two  Trying (for once!) to be good as I have WI on Tuesday first thing. I'll be having some fruit salad before leaving the house, so I don't get so hungry I just say 'sod it' lol

    Ouch, now I've got a problem :o

I hate weighing myself for this very reason. This morning it says I've put on 2lb. I'm guessing the huge glut of plums yesterday haven't helped, however, if I'd have lost anything at all, some plums wouldn't have made me put on that and some more.

I shall have the 'what's the point' mentality all day now. I've resisted binging all week. What the hell for? I could have had all the goodies like everyone else? In reality I've put on 4lb because I put on 2lb and didn't lose anymore?

    Brilliant

Frogga - STOP!! You are doing really well. I really understand how you're feeling, it's very easy to tip over into the 'What The Hell' state of mind, but if you do you will only make a small gain (and remember what you told me about A Big Poo!) into a much bigger gain and then you'll be really hacked off with yourself. Short term weight gain like this is often temporary so please don't blow all your hard work for this. It'll be okay, it will - but not if you have a binge today. This is a test; it's easy to be disciplined when it's going well but the real challenge is staying strong when things are tough.

You're perfectly eloquent Beanie, thankyou :A

Hi Inazuma and Joedenise ~ I'm trying to listen, honestly.

I've had breakfast, and just thought about getting the chocolate from the cupboard. I've considered having a break and starting again at the beginning of term. It's doing my head in. If I continue to be good, it's 7 more days of tourment before I can see if I've lost it again.

Looking back at my food intake over the week I see I have eaten loads. Loads of fruit, and big meals. But it's either free or it isn't? The plan either works or it doesn't? To have made a gain on week 4 is carp. I know after weeks and weeks it can go a bit pear shaped, but after 4 weeks? Really? Am off to sulk :(
