I think pumpkin, flax & sunflower seeds are all synned - will look up the quantities in a min x
Ok, as a HEb you can have 20g Linwoods flaxseed OR 2 level desertspoons of sunflower OR pumpkin seeds. As you've had your HEb today (if you're doing Extra Easy) then you'll have to syn them;
Linwoods, Milled Organic Flaxseed, Sunflower & Pumpkin Seeds mix, 25g 7 syns
I haven't had enough superfree today - will have to get some fruit in this afternoon/evening. Hubby's out which scares me as I tend to pick/eat when he's not here. Off to make some sugar free jelly!0 -
Decided on a Red day today:
B - ham omlette; big bowl of melon
S - handful of grapes
L - smoked salmon, crabsticks, cucumber, beetroot, pickled onions
S - handful of grapes
D - cheese burger & onions in WM rolls
HEA1: 250ml SS milk
HEA2: 1 cheese slice - 1/2 on each burger
HEB1 & 2: 60g WM roll
Syns: Burgers 2 (from local butcher who makes them with extra lean mince)
Will have a fruit lolly later - think it'll be 1 syn (24 calories)
Will also probably have a couple of medium 175ml glasses of red wine 12
Total 15 syns

You can't spot reduce in other words while you can work on certain body bits you cannot decide that that is where it will come off Now they are her words not mine
The one thing I always find is I put weight on lower body so thighs stomach butt and when I lose it I always lose first face arms chest etc
Usually I get so hacked off as I reckon I look bigger as the top is decreasing
You know those drawings kids do with a head on a triangle with 2 arms and legs :rotfl:
I'm the same and I hate it - I've lost it more from face and chest but legs and hips are still very wobbly, and I have massive saddlebagsI wouldn't mind having small boobs (or even small and saggy, as they seem to be now!) if I was in proportion, but other than trying to tone the bottom half there's nothing you can do
:(:(
L Homemade mushroom soup ( onion clove garlic, celery broccoli, loads of mushrooms 1 potato 2 knorr cubes ) coffee
Sounds lovely - got broccoli and loads of mushrooms that need using so may well make some of this tonight, thanksSkint_Catt wrote: »Hubby's out which scares me as I tend to pick/eat when he's not here. Off to make some sugar free jelly!
Start sorting out your wardrobe, it will keep you distracted! :rotfl: Seriously though, it worked for me yesterday and I find if I'm busy on my own instead of sitting in front of the telly with OH I think about snacking less.2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Loving the discussion today, very informative. I put on weight through comfort eating my way through grief at losing my son. It took 20+ years for the light bulb moment to hit and now I still get guilt thoughts of how My other son missed out on things like learning to swim because his fat mum was embarrassed to be seen in a swimsuit.
I now binge eat when I let go of the SW reins which I never did before, then beat myself up over the loss of control. So even when I lose weight I still have issues. I worry more now about what I look like than I ever did when overweight, why is that? Who knows
At the moment I am trying to listen to that little voice that says ' hey I'm full so stop eating' which I AM hearing its just my mouth carries on eating even though my tummy is complaining. it's all about portion control for me, I.e smaller portions will hopefully match my fullness meter so then shuts my mouth :rotfl:
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Haha! As stupid as it sounds, I never thought of that
I'll take my lappy upstairs & watch a bit of TV while I'm doing the wardrobes & drawers in our bedroom. I'm less likely to nip downstairs for nibbles then! I'll just take up my hi-fi bar, a drink & some jelly if it sets in time
Might also manage to have an early night for once as hubby won't be back until the early hours anyway.0 -
WOW TIE I'm so sorry. Nothing that auful has happened to me. I need to get a grip. I'm ashamed of myself. You have every right to have difficulties with stuff. I do not. I so need to get over myself :ASay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

I concur with Froggas sentiments exactly TIE I'm so sorry and it gives a sense of what you can term real difficulties
Your comment re clothes I am LOADs lighter than what I was years ago and it is true you become more conscious as you lose weight about how you look in things I think before I was not as fussed and could not understand how my pals who were all average to slim used to spend ages looking for the right things and what is the most flattering
I think for me it was I became more body conscious thinking actually a looks better on me than b whereas before it was a case in my own head of well what difference does it make anyway before which actually looking back was not the right approach anyway as you can always make most of yourself irrespective of shape
And what I mean by make the most of yourself is if you feel good/that's flattering etc about what you wear it gives you a confidence boost - ok gives magic bucks one don't want to generalise0 -

Well done on the loss Beanie
A few little binges on here yesterday, but we all NEED to do that everyonce in a while I think. It's the week long, month long binges that do the damage not the odd day. Mr Frog is a lovely size, he has no issue with food, but every now and then he feels like being a bit greedy. So what? That's normal folks
Tried hard to get it into my head yesterday that I can have chocolate, and lots of it, I'm just putting it off for a while. I may even plan a binge for a specific day. You may have realised that I've had 'help' from a head doctor with regards to my eating issues. She was the one that gave me 'permission' to eat any thing I wanted. She actually 'banned' me from dieting. It was reverse psychology and it did work. Once.
However, she also encouraged Binge Eating Dissorder sufferers to plan a binge. Go out and specificly buy 'binge food' take your time, chose what you really want, write a menu etc. Then enjoy it, really enjoy it, and when it's done it's done. Maybe then set a date for another time, say in a month. I lost 7 stone when I was seeing her. She really did help. I have to remember all the things she said as it worked for me
I have a thing about being perfect. Being the best at everything. If there is one thing I try to be the gold medalist at every time it's being a mum. If there was a cake stall at the school fayre mine would be the best etc  There's nothing I like more than someone saying how good I am at something. I guess I crave approval. But I need to remember that it's ok not to be perfect. It's ok to mess up sometimes, as long as you do your best to start again.
SO, have a good day people, for those who fell over yesterday, here is my hand helping you up. The kettle is on, and you're all welcome to pop round for a cuppa :coffee:
Frogga, I always find your posts very uplifting so thanks. Can relate to the binging and the craving approval. My problem is I try to do the best I can but never think it's enough. I'm not very confident with cooking yet my other half says my meals are lovely. He's an amazing cook, should be on master chef, so I doubt my meals are good enough. I don't even post on here what I've made as I think it's 'only this' or 'just that'. I take pics of what I've made some my bf can tell me how lovely it looks which makes me feel chuffed
anyway, bit of a picky day today, from the extra hot dog on the plate to sticking my finger in the Nutella :-( big dinner party tomorrow night with bf workmates, curry night, so god help me :-(
Gonna read rest of posts now, hope everyone had a sw friendly day :-) x0
