I know in the great scheme of things half a pound isn't much, but I've tried really hard. I can't see where I'm going wrong.
Perhaps I ought to try the Success Express for a week to see if that makes a difference.

Hi Stitchy I'm on express this week as well ok forget cake gate lol but tomorrow until Tuesday non stop I'm expressing so we can compare stuff and everyone swears by it at my class to get you back on track:j
Also have you got one of those SAS forms you know the ones that help as they show the difference between what you are doing and what you think you doing (mean that in good way it's how they described) it can help you identify where ,if any your pitfalls are most likely time to come off wagon etc

lol I've been feeling meh for a few days now & not even been beading! But today the food went wonky too! Ah well, it could have gone worse. we went to morrisons & I had a salmon sarnie in the cafe (i'd already had ryvita so no using heb for that one). Tho I did give the crisps to hubby ... but then had half a rice crispy cake thing they do. Then later at home I also had some 0s & xs crisps & a curly wurly.
But I've stopped the binge now & it's back to being good tmrw!when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

EE yesterday:
B: 2 slices w/meal toast (HEB), 2 boiled eggs, 2 lean rashers bacon.
S: Nope
L: Nope:
T: Syn Free spaghetti bolognese
Drinks: Lemon tea, mint tea, s/f lemon cordial.
Exercise: Cardio recovery and redecorating a bedroom...
Must eat more- especially fruit and veg! Thanks for that suggestion!0 -
Well done on the loss Beanie
A few little binges on here yesterday, but we all NEED to do that everyonce in a while I think. It's the week long, month long binges that do the damage not the odd day. Mr Frog is a lovely size, he has no issue with food, but every now and then he feels like being a bit greedy. So what? That's normal folks
Tried hard to get it into my head yesterday that I can have chocolate, and lots of it, I'm just putting it off for a while. I may even plan a binge for a specific day. You may have realised that I've had 'help' from a head doctor with regards to my eating issues. She was the one that gave me 'permission' to eat any thing I wanted. She actually 'banned' me from dieting. It was reverse psychology and it did work. Once.
However, she also encouraged Binge Eating Dissorder sufferers to plan a binge. Go out and specificly buy 'binge food' take your time, chose what you really want, write a menu etc. Then enjoy it, really enjoy it, and when it's done it's done. Maybe then set a date for another time, say in a month. I lost 7 stone when I was seeing her. She really did help. I have to remember all the things she said as it worked for me
I have a thing about being perfect. Being the best at everything. If there is one thing I try to be the gold medalist at every time it's being a mum. If there was a cake stall at the school fayre mine would be the best etc  There's nothing I like more than someone saying how good I am at something. I guess I crave approval. But I need to remember that it's ok not to be perfect. It's ok to mess up sometimes, as long as you do your best to start again.
SO, have a good day people, for those who fell over yesterday, here is my hand helping you up. The kettle is on, and you're all welcome to pop round for a cuppa :coffee:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Didn't manage to get on yesterday after WI. After a not too good week I was surprised to find I'd only put on 1/2lb, so not too bad.
My C has asked me to do a food diary this week so maybe that'll keep me in check this week!
Started off well yesterday and managed to stay within my syns at 13. Had an EE day:
B - 2 plums (after WI)
S - Mr Ts duck sushi - 1.5 syns (after shopping as was really hungry so wanted to eat before I went to the butchers and then home, which takes about half hour!)
L - Marmite on toast; strawberries, grapes, banana
D - Mr T's Light Choices cumberland sausages; new potatoes; sweetcorn; brocolli; brussels
HEA - 250ml SS milk
HEB - 2 small slices WM bread
Syns: Duck Sushi 1.5; 2 sausages 1; fruit split lolly 3.5; 2 small gins 5; 10g low fat spread 2 - TOTAL 13

Hi all,
It's Friday*does happy dance* OH is away for the weekend (went yesterday) so I have a weekend of housey stuff planned - sad I know but I love sorting and clearing and couldn't wait so cleared out my enormous wardrobe last night. Now got 4 binbags of stuff to go to charity shop plus 1 to sell and 1 to chuck. A lot of them are 'fat clothes' but have kept some 'just in case'- been there before where I regained what I'd lost and then some and had nothing to wear so even though don't want to get back there and have got rid of the biggest ones I am keeping a few for emergencies
Hi all, got a marathon car journey coming up on Saturday. Usually a bag or two of boiled sweets would accompany us but obviously they're full of sugar. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacements ? Sticks of veg etc don't really count as something to suck on to pass the time.
This isn't for everyone but personally I wouldn't take anything - since doing 5:2 I use travelling days as an opportunity to fast because if I haven't taken anything there's no temptation so it's fairly easy to do - I am too tight to even consider paying service station prices! If you're going to be travelling over a mealtime take stuff for that but it's up to you to decide if you can have a bag of something (low syn per sweet or otherwise) and not eat the whole bag- I know I'd struggle. Otherwise maybe a small bag of something, e.g. jelly tots or sugar free mints, so the whole bag/tube is synned and once they're gone they're gone, and within syns.

I think you speak for 90% of us there- it seems most people who have a problem with their weight (and especially those that have struggled with dieting, particularly over a long period) have that black and white thinking, a perfect SW day or a perfect day until something creeps in and we go over syns and then all hell breaks loose. It's good that you've had help for it and can see that it's ok to be in the grey area; that's something I (and probably most of us) need to get my head around and accept, much easier said than done though!

Blodwen - I need you!!! I also need my wardrobe/drawers sorted out, plus my spare room & our 'family room' which I'm trying to rurn into a playroom for DD. We moved in 2 years ago & my spare room is still full of boxes & 'stuff' I just don't know what to do with
I'm too mean to throw or charity shop stuff, lol - I feel it's a waste of money.
I'd advise against keeping any 'fat' clothes. I did that last time & found it too easy to get back into them! This time EVERYTHING will go & then as soon as I put on a lb too many I'll have to get back on the wagon pronto-ish!
Not feeling 'in the zone' this week at all, though I thought I would when I returned from holiday. I'm so tired all the time I don't know what's wrong with me. Tiredness = needing sugar wich is why I'm still bloody picking at the biscuits  My meals have been ok, but I've been putting things in my mouth inbetween that I've hardly realised! Frogga - I think I need your woman! I've tried hypnosis before which did sod all but I need help with a lot of issues really, just never sought help. I think I think too much, lol.
Happy Friday everyone

Skint Catt I agree with you on the clothes front get rid of all the fat clothes as otherwise they are a get out of jail card for want of a better expression
Frogga yes going to see someone on weight and why you(not you personally you everyone) overheats/binges is well worth it
I went to see someone a number of years ago and it does make a difference the friend of mine I told you has lost 6 stone but has at least another eight to go did as well (see someone) and as she said it definitely straightened some things out for her in terms of behaviours and why she does/feels the need to do things whether eating etc etc etc I think that's why this time she is so determined on it because she recognises her own behaviours in general better Does that make sense to anyone
Anyway Skint Catt you have a kiss from Frogga and a draw a line under it coming too If it helps fill in one of the SAS things just for pure check
Writing things down in anything makes huge difference it may not stop you having it but when you look back after you may say hmmmm or a stronger word if you were me :rotfl:0
