    I'm a gamer too :-)

I like playing FPS but tend not to use the mic anymore due to previous sexual comments & declarations of love...I just seem to attract all the weirdoes ;-)

I have an Xbox 360 for my FPS & a DS for my puzzle games and am seriously considering buying a PS3 just so I can play The Last of Us

    Happy gaming :-) x

Although not talking about consoles, we have a pretty active gaming community which is a fair percentage of female gamers.

It's all PC-based games but if that doesn't grab you, you're welcome to join the forum.

I can't post a link but it's the normal www prefix then deadmen and a dot co dot uk at the end.

Some of our female members are partners / wives of other members , others are independents.

As we tend to be older (30's & 40's) they find we're more mature and sensible than other gaming communities. The vast majority of us also have families.

We play everything from FPS games (CS:GO, Arma etc, through to World of Warcraft and racing sims).

Anyone is welcome to swing by so perhaps see you there. If nothing else, I can guarantee that you'll be free from the inane, puerile comments and banter you get when someone hears a (shock, horror) female voice.

    Regards

    PEN

    Mpen, I am a 35yo male, am I allowed in too? :D

I have played with the Amazon Basin for years; they are a teamwork-fairplay-no cheating group of gamers, and I even play with a couple of girls there :)

I mostly play D3 right now but did have BF3 but my mouse is falling apart and headphones are knackered lol

I'm a gamer and have been for as long as I can remember, my first gaming platform was a commodore 64, did anyone else have the frustration of waiting about 40 minutes for the game to load lol.

Yes! Then after 40 mins of looking at the rainbow screen and listening to the annoying buzzing sound, it'd freeze or crash and you'd have to start again....... Had to be dedicated to game back then!

I remember Outrun particularly didn't want to load, you would get right to the end of the tape and then it would crash with 5 seconds to go, and then you would have to mess around with the volume control to within one nano-millimeter on your next try...

Gloom is pretty good fun, and the art is GORGEOUS - you ever played Munchkin? Munchkin is very, very fun and I keep having to resist the temptation to buy it, and force my non-school friends to play it!

The art Gloom is beautiful and yes, we've got Munchkin too. We've most recently been playing Carcasonne with some of the different expansions and Cards Against Humanity (do not play this with anyone easily offend).

If you want an easy game to get people hooked in to board/cards games the I highly recommend Fluxx or one of it's variants. The basic rule is draw one, play one and the cards tell you what to do after that!

I'm a girl gamer! I have a PS2 and an Xbox 360, having sold my PS3 last christmas. My favourite game for now is COD Black Ops. I also quite like Dragon Age origins but I play that on PC and I am also an avid gamer on LOTRO :)
