That's my thing worrying and fretting about things, going over and over in my mind, driving my self mad until I realised I was only upsetting myself,so decided no more.easier said than done but you have to take a step back and leave them too it.
Take care,and have a good weekend0 -

luckycat - I'm sure you'll get your project finished in time.. Are you framing it yourself. Bet they will both love it. Don't forget to let us see the finished thing.

I wouldn't know where to start with framing it myself as I've seen people on here talk about stretching it etc and although I'm quite handy, I wouldn't want to mess it up. I'd be grateful for any tips though...14 projects in 2014: 3/140 -

luckycat welcome (I don't think I've seen you post before). Love the wedding sampler (is it Historical Sampler Company design?)
Hello! It is a Historical Sampler design. I love their stuff and have bought another similar one for my own wedding next year. It says 'all you need is love' on it.14 projects in 2014: 3/140 -

Catch up time ladies
Mags_cat - xmas decs are brilliant:D
mos - can't manage to cross stitch in the car (as a passenger I mean)
hippipal - cruise sounds brill. Looking forward to seeing your progress with your Disney pic. Hope all goes well for all the family.
Ayeshalush - welcome to the Cafe :hello:. Re: mags - I have tried a few different mags and always seem to go back to World of Cross Stitching. Here is a linky to enable you to get 5 issues for £5 which is pretty good. Yes dont forget we love pics - we're a right nosey bunch
Mrs ceejay - looking forward to seeing dinos.
luckycat - re framing. I'm quite lucky as hubby seems to have developed a bit of a flair for framing. According to him he just makes it up as he goes along. He does tend to sit and work things out logically mind you unlike me.One of the ladies in the Cafe gave me a link for a tutorial on lacing for bigger projects - I will try and sort it for you. Even if you dont use it - it was quite interesting.
Postie brought me the remaining threads for 12 Days today so didnt have to wait too long.
Hope you manage some stitchy time this weekend. I'm a bit tired now to start it so I think I will settle down to watch the first XFactor (yes I am a saddo who will probably watch it most weeks and complain all the way through).

I had a really frustrating evening of stitching, I spent ages doing the 'Santa stop here' part of the Xstitch.........and realised it was 2 squares out so had to unpick it and re do it all
. My DD said she would have thrown it away at that point :rotfl:
I have had a busy couple of days so my CFS is bad today, I am planning on watching the end of the motogp and then going to do some stitching for the rest of the day. Luckily I have a lovely DH who is very kind and compassionate and never moans about me not doing anything.
B-E-G, I didn't manage to do any stitching in the car, we took my Brother with me who has learning difficulties and he can talk the hind legs off a donkey - nice to spend some time with him tho0 -

Hi guys latest update on BD, its coming along great this page i'm sure i'll be finished it this week :j I actually bought something cross stitch related last week, I usually store my floss in the bag they get delivered in, but it was taking ages to find the colour I needed when I ran out. I bought 2 of those storage boxes for the card bobbins and it is so much easier to grab the colour I need, I wish i'd done it sooner. Got a bargain aswell 2 boxes + 200 bobbins for £8.90 delivered, even though I only half fill 1 of them :rotfl:
Mrs Ceejay, great news about the elephants can't wait to see a photo and i'm glad you are enjoying the dinos, it will be nice seeing them stitched up.
Ayeshalush, welcomesome people use a hoop, others like *louise* and myself use R&R craft frames mine is a standard square one clicky and *louise* uses a lap version clicky
Hippipal, the eagle and puffin sound great and a fellow stitcher after my own heart, since I got back into stitching all I've really done is animal kits, I did African lions, czar the tiger and now my lovely wolfCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0
