Good luck with the driving trekkerdude.
Hope everyone is well and has been enjoying the sunshine, I've been knitting in the garden so have managed to knit 3 pairs of the converse bootees and two little hats for the hospital prem unit.
Want to get a few balls of stash wool knitted up before I start the stocking.

Still waiting for the pair of "one hundred years" to come back from the framers, DD2 having DGS slightly delayed them getting done. Not that I mind one bit he is far more important than anything else.

  • Kez, that's a lovely stitch pattern, are you going to keep it for yourself or pass it along as a gift.

The good thing is that you are together even if you aren't doing the same activity. Have you tried to get him interested in doing something crafty?

Not sure yet, might see what I feel like doing with it. An occasion might come up to pass it forward so to speak.

Not yet, I prefer to encourage him in the cooking area currently, as he's home before me during the week, so that we share responsibilities. :)

Hi everybody - it's a bit quiet on here! Hopefully you are all busy stitching.....

This week I booked to do a craft fayre with my Mum. It's not until the end of September. Mum has lots of 'stiock' already as she knits and crotchets the most amazing things. I was thinking of doing some cross stitch cards. I have a fair few designs pinned on Pinterest and have spent some time this week stitching onto the large piece of 14ct aida I picked up at a CS recently. Once I've done a batch, I will cut and mount them onto cards.

I have also this week booked my solo trip to York. I went through my diary, and due to work and other things (wedding anniversary, Father's Day etc.) it was either go soon - 22-24 May or go in October! I plumped for May and have booked my hotel room and train fare. Most people I've told think I'm bonkers wanting to go alone, but I'm looking forward to visiting the Crafters Trail plus York Minster and do it in my own time, not having to worry about anyone else!

Throat feels really scratchy today - hoping it's just hay fever and not some awful lurgy. Will carry on with Pretty Little Sydney this weekend - only 6 more to do after that......!

    Have a good evening all.

Oooh, if it's nice, I can recommend a boat trip. Really enjoyed York & would like to go back sometime. :)

I have been doing a tiny bit of stitching. About time, I know! :T
I've done a small amount more on the Lizzie Kate Cat Lessons design that was started nearly 3 years ago.

First read that as New York! Won't worry quite so much about you going to York now! ;)
If you visit the Railway Museum, it's great, but the food was quite expensive. :o

I've done a bit of stitching, photo's not uploaded yet, but progress is good.

On the roses, I think I've come to the decision to scrap the three ruined squares and start those again, just waiting for some money to buy my materials.
