It is a wicked day out there - perfect day for stitching but I will be making a vegetarian lasange later (we are not vegetarian but we enjoy this and its gets us part of our 5 a day:) ). Might get some stitching after.
Well dropped off all my stitches at the exhibition ready to be set up this week - ready for the opening on Saturday - one of them have been hung before, so hopefully they will be ok. I have no influence on how they will be hung. I did print out (and laminated) a piece of paper for the twisted band showing each band and what stitch is within the band. Don't know if they will use it or not.
Anyway, I managed to do some stitching last night and finished off the latest band in the learning sampler - band 12. So I am now about two-thirds of the way through. This band contained, cross stitch, ray stitch and a new one - rhodes heart stitch.

I tried to zoom in closer to the rhodes heart stitch
Hope all are well and thank you once again for all your kind comments.

complicated.will post picture later.

Evenweave may feel nicer for making into a cushion, but if you think you'll be happier working on Aida, then stick with that. Could you maybe switch stitching the white/pale green one on a beige fabric to make the white easier to see?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I stitched a cushion for friend a couple of years ago - the wine bottle and words one - that was on evenweave and I was really pleased with it. The Keep Calm cushion I did for myself last year was stitched on a chunk of spare 11ct aida. As it was an all over design I managed to get away with it. I have been swayed onto evenweave if any of the fabric shows. Hope some of that makes sense.Looking foward to seeing your updates.

Yay Thank God has now been framed and a birthday card has been made up but unfortunately I am unable to post the pics atm but hopefully by the end of the week I will be able to share them with you.
When giving a picture as a gift, do you put any names/messages/marking a special occasion etc? Thank God is a gift for someone marking a special occasion and was just wondering what other people did.
Tiny little bit of snowman stitched this morning.
