Hi, long time lurker on this thread, as love looking at what you're all stitching. I'm very taken with the Live Laugh Love Lizzie Kate design that Calley has stitched & have realised that it would be make a great wedding present for a friend. However I'm struggling to find the pattern on any UK website, does anyone know where I can get it from? (would rather not buy from USA)
It's on ebay until Sunday so may bid on that if I can't get it from anywhere sooner.
Thanks Kate0 -

Welcome to Cafe barbeka. I got my current LK chart from Sew and Sew. Sorry I have got time to check to see if they have your particular chart but it may be worth a look. If not, good luck with your bidding.

I looked on line and ended up buying from here http://bettystitchkit.co.uk/crossstitch.htm after looking at the suppliers on the lizzie kate website.
Could not have been more helpful. I rang them and ordered it over the phone. Arrived a couple of days later as they had it in stock. And cost me me about £4 ish including p + p. That was about a year ago.
It does look like sewandso.co.uk do sell lizzie kate. Look here and that gives a list of international sellers including the uk.
I think the chart is fab as you get two charts and not just one for that price. I prefer the one I stitched and not the other one.

Calley, that makes more sense now, but I do love my animal pics
For the frames I've bought all my custom ones from http://www.ezeframe.co.uk/ I find them very reasonable and I lace them myself when I can be bothered. I think BD and Czar are still stuck down with masking tape :rotfl:

Thanks for all the help and advice, unfortunately Sewanso don't appear to have it in stock which is a shame as was pointed out they have a sale on at the moment. Didn't dare look at too much on there
.
Thanks Calley for directing me to the International retailers for Lizzie Kate - I should have thought of them. Most don't have it in stock but I've emailed a couple (including BettyStitch) that don't seem to list their stock online.
Thanks again - everyone's been so friendly I'll try join in more rather than lurking!0 -
Hello there,
The frames were all really good value - would of been nice of I got the bigger ones in the bargain places. I did see a big one I thought would suit the twisted band in ik£a but it was an inch out - gutted!
Starting to get really nervous about it all - I put more tape on the back of my frames as I am paranoid they might collapse in the middle of the night and they break. Also, nervous thinking is my work good enough among the other members of the group. I tried so hard to frame them right - scared they might poo poo it saying I should get them professionally done but I can't afford it.
Oh well, I have labels to write up - I have decided I am not selling any - someone at works said I should and make a fortune
Keep well everyone and thank you for all your kindness.

Sweetcarer your work is beautiful and the framing looks great. Anyone who says otherwise is possibly jealous of what you've achieved. Don't worry your work is certainly as good if not better than anything it will be compared against.SPC~12 ot 124

Hello
It is a wicked day out there - perfect day for stitching but I will be making a vegetarian lasange later (we are not vegetarian but we enjoy this and its gets us part of our 5 a day:) ). Might get some stitching after.
Well dropped off all my stitches at the exhibition ready to be set up this week - ready for the opening on Saturday - one of them have been hung before, so hopefully they will be ok. I have no influence on how they will be hung. I did print out (and laminated) a piece of paper for the twisted band showing each band and what stitch is within the band. Don't know if they will use it or not.
Anyway, I managed to do some stitching last night and finished off the latest band in the learning sampler - band 12. So I am now about two-thirds of the way through. This band contained, cross stitch, ray stitch and a new one - rhodes heart stitch.

I tried to zoom in closer to the rhodes heart stitch
Hope all are well and thank you once again for all your kind comments.
