  • Just popping into the Cafe to let you know that I am still here but things have been manic. The little bit of spare time I've had has been used on deciding on exchange piece and after making a false start on it :o I confirm that it is now up and running. ;)

There has been a severe post famine in the Cafe for the last few days Elizabeth - they must all be stitching like mad. Loving the colours on your beautiful project.

Still not had time to catch up with all the other posts btw. :(

I've got my latest two finishes back from the framer's. They're in our Flickr group if anyone wants a nosey :)

And now, after two excursions into coloured silks - I'm off to more of the monochrome monstrosity!

WW1 stitched piece in place, it's above the war memorial in my village church - it feels the right place for it to be.

I've got a complimentary ticket for two people for Simply Christmas, Hobbycrafts & Art Materials show at Excel, London on 28 - 30 November if anyone wants it.

I was going to go but have decided to wait for the January one at Sandown Park.

Just send me a PM if you want it and I'll pop it in the post next week.

Haven't picked up my cross stitch for a couple of weeks as I've been busy knitting baby stuff for a few friends but on the last bit now, so back to Starry Starry Night this week hopefully!

I got sent one too. No idea why...
My mum was visiting when it came through the post, so she's decided she's coming with me! Cheeky mare.
We will be there on Saturday if anyone wants to grab a coffee with us.

I finished crocheting the scarf for DH. I may even try a small cross stitch soon. About blooming time, I hear you all say...;)
