I've not been on for a while as I'm supposed to be studying for an exam, so that is taking up most of the limited spare time I have and my latest piece is being sadly neglected :( It is also incredibly slow going! I think I've managed about 60 stitches, which are made up of something like 15 different colours, most of them blended threads  And it all looks grey! I'd post a picture, but there's really not a lot to see at them moment :rotfl:

It's good to see everyone getting in the festive spirit. I'm thinking I'll make a little decoration for my tree, so I can have a little project I won't feel too guilty about putting the studying aside for, and also something I can have the fun of finishing since the main project will be a looooong time before its done.

It's so lovely to see Elvis all finished, pm2326, he looks amazing!

Sweetcarer it's always so lovely to see your updates. Your twisted band sampler is coming along so well, I think I'm going to miss it when it's all done.

Glad your move went well, nmm. The poppies look lovely.

JCS1, your cat is so lifelike!

And I just love the colours in your paradise island, Elizabeth, they're just stunning.

Mrs Ceejay, only a small amount of backstitch :) a few bits on the poppies to stand out and the tree trunks, I think that was it. Oh and a few French knots.

JCS1, that was quick, looks fab :D

Thank you all for the lovely comments.

    hi all,
I've posted here in the past, but have had to put away the cross stitch for a while recently due to the demands of a baby! But today I finally managed to pick it up again, only to find that the pattern sheet has gone missing. I was wondering if any of you kind ladies would have the (fairly common) pattern.

It's this one: Quilt. It's a stamped quilt, so I have the basic info, but not the details of the colours. I could do it from the picture, but as I'm sure you know that would be quite annoying! I am sure the counted version for aida would have the same pattern.

Failing that, has anyone got a dimensions kit with the contact details for dimensions on it? Maybe they would send me a reprint.

    Thanks!
