Hello everyone,

Another band done - so close to being finished - but need to do a wee wedding sampler this weekend so will be taking a wee break, sorry its not a full length version. Asked hubby to take photo and he didn't think to unclip it.

I went to the embroiders guild meeting other night there. It was nice - met another couple of cross stitchers. Sad, I only took a fiver with me and they had a class that night on felt making but it cost extra, so all I could do was sit and watch the rest make felt. Think I will go back - but need to find £45 for the years membership.

Tonight I will frame up my wee card ready for posting. I have took part in two christmas card exchanges - here and one in FB, so have to send the one for FB tomorrow as it has to go to the states. I should of sent it last weekend but couldn't find a card to mount it in. So I ordered some from cross stitch heaven - didn't arrive till today and I ordered it last Saturday

I have put the heating on (just) as I feel cold.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I've not been around much. We were away at a wedding last weekend and now my dad is here for a few weeks, staying between us and my sisters place, so lots of running around.

I've made a start on my exchange piece so no photos from me for a while methinks!

JCS1 - love the vase of flowers, and great progress on the puss cat.

Elizabeth - fantasy island is coming along great, love the colours.

Nmm - RF is looking amazing.

Sweetcarer - great progress on the band sampler, your work is so neat. Glad you had a nice time at the group. It's lovely to spend time with people who have similar interests.

I have finished my exchange piece as we had nothing much on on Saturday so it came together fairly quickly.

I've had to restart my MP cottage I started it in September and somehow I've mis counted the stitches grrrr! Being a Virgo and therefore OCD(!) I've restarted it. Hoping not to make the same mistake again lol!

Fab update pics ladies. Snowman makes me smile each time I see him. I love getting my christmas stitches out each year. Stick with the MP stitch Coxy - its a lovely little design.

My stitching update, I have put Keep Calm cushion to one side for the time being so maybe tomorrow might see the start of my exchange stitch.
