Page 9 finally finished. Only another 26 pages to go.

(Sorry about the links, it's an extra couple of clicks - but I don't like posting images on here any more as they'll get grabbed for Pintrest).

    Close up of pages 1,2,8 & 9

Top row finished, second row just begun
  • Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I'm feeling better and seem to have got to the root cause of the problem. Thankfully, taking care of it from here on in will not need my help overmuch. :) It wasn't so much that the guilty party had no consideration, it was more that they misinterpreted some instructions and then misapplied that misconstruction in a way that they shouldn't have. They meant well, but made a complete mess and will soon be feeling a complete idiot :D

Now that things feel less outrageously anxious (i.e. nothing more can go wrong, they sabotaged the whole plan), I can get down to my own goals again and leave others to sort out the Chump!

    Stitching, here I come....

Lovely work everyone. I have been away to Budapest for the weekend and am now working two days a week, so my stitching time has reduced significantly :(

Currently trying to finish knitting a scarecrow for the church harvest festival which starts a week today eeek! Only one part of his coat left and then I can start stuffing!!!

Hoping to get back to my MP mini Christmas Cottage after that.

Hope all are well and sorry for the short message.

Love the updates Mags_Cat and pm2326. House move has been delayed by a week due to local searches, hopefully moving next weekend instead, fingers crossed :) Going to try and do as much of RF as I can, would love to finish it before I move but I think I'd need a miracle or some of Louise's stitching speed :rotfl:

Elizabeth, glad all is sorted now, enjoy your stitching :D

Heck, no, nmm, nothing like sorted, I'm sorry to say, but I don't personally have to do anything else. I'm leaving it to Sir. May never really be cleared up, but that's life, huh?

    Yes, back to stitching...

Sorry if I misunderstood, I'm guessing its a family member? Its the reason I live in the middle of the country, my family up north and my oh's down south :rotfl:

  • Thankfully, no, it's not a relative. Funnily enough, I'd find that easier to shrug off. Anyway, we make a decision about staying here or moving in 4 weeks' time, and I think I've made my mind up already!! I've begun lists of things to use up and have listed umpteen embroidery and language books on Amazon (sold 3 already - hurrah!), plus earmarked a load more for the local library, which has just gone 'run by volunteers' and is canvassing for stock. I feel like I'm doing something, and it feels good! :D :ROTFL

I have several things to stitch too, so I can sell the books/kits/patterns too. Love this kind of recycling, don't you?? :)

PS, Hope I didn't sound narky! I didn't feel it, but you can't be sure you've come across as you meant to in writing, can you? Forgive me if I did sound like an old crab!

No you didn't sound narky at all :o I get what you mean about the recycling and selling stuff. A house move certainly makes you have a clear out, I'm amazed at the things I keep finding. I put all my craft items in a box and it weighed a tonne :rotfl:
