JCS1, love the framed farmyard scene looks antique in a good way, if you know what I mean

I only ever bought kits but got the chart for BD and threads separately as it worked out cheaper, it only had codes for DMC. Then last year I treated myself to the full set of DMC colours which has been great, I store them in 4 plastic boxes and have a spare box for WIP threads.

My latest RF update, is that some green I see :rotfl:



OT: House update, the mortgage has been approved and the sold sign has gone up, just got the solictors to deal with now. If anyone wants a wee nose at the house pm me and i'll send the link, can't have everyone in the forum knowing where I live, it'll be the next facebook party

Great news on your new home nmm - exciting times ahead I think

Woke up this morning and I feel quite yucky and it seems so cold. Getting new bathroom delivered today ready for work to start next month. Have been waiting for the last 30 odd years to get rid of my horrible blue bath - thought I was going to be so excited to see the new stuff coming but I think my enthusiasm has gone awol this morning.

Had word from XStitch Heaven to say that my new threads are on the way so looking forward to getting back to my cushion.

Thanks to those who posted their thread box photos too, very interesting! Just a quick Q, isn't it a lot of work putting threads onto bobbins?

Not for me Elizabeth, this is how I bought them But you can get a bobbin winder to make the job easier.

Not for me, they are already on the bobbin when I get them
