My current project is the replacement for the wedding sampler on navy which I abandoned.
Because I've been prevaricating for so long I had to find a quick and easy pattern. This isn't designed as a sampler but there is plenty of space for me to add the names and date.
Quality of photo is shocking - it was really dark yesterday evening. The fabric is actually white with silveringimage by stitchwitchhazel, on Flickr
The hearts are hanging from a tree. Wish me luck in getting it finished0 -

I've done some projects with lots of beads and the most useful accessory I found is a Tacky Bob Bead Holder
Description says:
They are a square small case that has a tacky (acid-free) lining, which you pour a few beads on and then you can easily pick up the beads with the tip of your needle. They are designed to solve the headache caused by you dropping your pot of beads on the floor (or your pet/child jumping up and doing that for you!).
Crafty Kitten sell them.
Thanks fos. I ordered the nabber as recommended by Ruth (on its way) but I will make a note of Tacky Bob (great names :rotfl:) for future reference. It might be a while till I tackle another project with lots of beadingflowerofscotland wrote: »My current project is the replacement for the wedding sampler on navy which I abandoned.

Bead Nabber has arrived safe and sound.
Don't think I will be trying it out just yet though as I feel so tired and my co-ordination seems to have gone to pot.
I also picked up a little bead storage box from Home Bargains this afternoon - thought it was worth a try for 59p. Don't know whether it will be any good but at least it hasn't totally broke the bank.
Hope you all manage to stitchy time over the weekend.

Evening
Elvis is on hold again
Gas board is replacing the mains pipe in our street and the pipes leading to my house. means my mum has had to be in my house for last 3 days while I'm at work so Elvis had to be put away out of sight or else it'll spoil the surprise .....I'm hoping they'll finish tomorrow so I can start stitching again
FOS your sampler looks cute, cant wait to see the finished item
B-e-g your red tree is stunning, you've chosen the frame well
Happy stitching x0 -
