Mrs Ceejay - I don't know whether it is brave or foolish to tackle all the beading.
I take my varifocals off when I'm doing really close work - so being able to see them isn't a problem I just keep sending them flying in all directions. Hopefully they have included some spares  Picture to follow.
JCS1 - that liittle kitten looks so comfy. You stitched it really quickly.
Coxy - I stitched the MP Winter Cottage a couple of years ago too. I really like his designs. Have got a little book and keep promising myself to get it out one day to have a look through.
tricksie - I can understand you being on countdown till your hols. Hope you have a lovely time.
chicky - lovely to see you popping in to the Cafe.
Mrs MilkyBarKid - lovely to see you popping in too. You have done some really gorgeous pieces. You have obviously sussed thread parking - I managed to get in a knot with just two :rotfl:
nmm - great progress on RF :T
Elizabeth - good luck in your search for Birds and Seasons chart.
No stitching or beading done here today so far but I have taken a couple of photos.

Two new update pics
The Red Tree now framed and on the wall. DS said that he is not too fussed over the subject matter but he likes the way it has been done and framed. I am taking that as a compliment :rotfl:
and this is progress so far on Mill Hill kit - Olive Oil

Looks great, BEG. The tree is framed really nicely and great progress on the beading. Have you got a bead nabber? They're cheap and very useful.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Thanks, but, no, it wasn't this one. It wasn't in a mag, it was just that the kit was given as a gift with new subscriptions. This one:

Thanks Ruth. Have just googled them to see what they are and they do look quite useful. DH reckons I will be finished all the beading by the time it arrives - who's he kidding :rotfl::rotfl:
The Birds and Seasons looks great Elizabeth.
Having a really lazy night. The light is not good for sorting the beads.

Men have no concept of how long these things take, do they?
Sew & So will have it delivered in no time (but other places may be cheaper with postage)
Light here rubbish too. Was doing crochet jumper earlier, but it's dark blue/navy wool so not easy to see now. Reading or tv for me, I think.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

nmm HAEDs are no different to any other stitching, they are just one cross after another (a couple of hundred thousand times in some cases though!) - my HAED hints & tips video might be useful in helping you avoid some of the common pitfalls stitchers make when starting their first HAED, but I know not everyone is a fan of YouTube so no worries!
That's exactly what I do - treat your videos the same as TV and only look up from my stitching when I need to and of course I can rewind if I've missed something or want to see it again.
I should perhaps have prefaced my message about your vlogs with a warning that you are a great stash enabler, having introduced me to a few new suppliers of threads and fabric ..........0 -

When you find those extra days I'm top of the list to share please0 -
beg Both projects look great and the framing really sets off your Red Tree
I've done some projects with lots of beads and the most useful accessory I found is a Tacky Bob Bead Holder
Description says:
They are a square small case that has a tacky (acid-free) lining, which you pour a few beads on and then you can easily pick up the beads with the tip of your needle. They are designed to solve the headache caused by you dropping your pot of beads on the floor (or your pet/child jumping up and doing that for you!).
