If you add your other piece to the Cafe Flickr group it is members only - if that helps
Great idea - now added to Flickr.
Still not sure of the design, not something I would normally do.0 -
hi all
I do still lurk.... when I have time
I have a flavour to ask.... does anyone have the Glamping Girls chart? (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/cross-stitch-chart-GLAMPING-GIRLS-cs241-/181490631678?pt=UK_Crafts_CrossStitch_RL&hash=item2a41af43fe)
have seen it on the stash site (can't thank sweetcarer enough for that link) but it's got no price ..... and I've already had a run in with the person selling it lol.
i refuse to pay £1.25 + p&p from ebay when I'm selling magazines in tact for only £1- £1.50 each.
or if anyone knows of anything similar??? I'm off for a google.
thanks in advanceloves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi Chicky
Mrs MilkyBarKid, your projects are just stunning, I am so going to do a HAED, maybe not Dreams of Atlantis first but I would love to do a dragon one. I don't think I could cope with all that thread parking you must have mastered that skill by now
Update timeRF is coming along a bit now the red is quite bright in the photo, although not much different from reality :rotfl: I'm sure the greens will tone it down a bit when I start on them.

DD3 is engaged but they are wanting to move from the flat to a house first so i think it will be a couple more years before i need to think about big hats and wedding samplers.
You are very welcome to it - you could stitch it as an engagement sampler or just be very organised for when they announce the date of the big day0 -

Mrs MBK has some great vlogs on You Tube including a couple specifically about HAED and how she stitches them. Well worth a look. They are quite long though so you need a bit of time to view them.
Having seen how well you have stitched your other big projects I'm sure you wouldn't have any problems with a HAED
RF is looking really good.0 -

Thanks FOS - ha ha yes mine are some of the longest stitchy videos on YT, most of my fellow flosstubers watch them while stitching, knitting or some sort of other craft work killing two birds with one stone.
nmm HAEDs are no different to any other stitching, they are just one cross after another (a couple of hundred thousand times in some cases though!) - my HAED hints & tips video might be useful in helping you avoid some of the common pitfalls stitchers make when starting their first HAED, but I know not everyone is a fan of YouTube so no worries!0 -
Hi ladies!
I'm looking for the Anchor 'Birds and Seasons' chart, the one a bunch of xs mags have been using the kit of as a subscription gift. I don't need the whole kit though as I have plenty of supplies and use Anchor as my 'go to' thread range (and it's quite pricey), so I'd just like to track down a chart. Anyone got any ideas??Elizabeth
