  • Yeah that's what I was hoping, how might I do that?

Log into eb and put the details into the search box. Then click on Follow this search and tick the email me with updates box.

If you've got the app on your phone/tablet you will get alerts as well as emails to the address registered with the site.

It's still worth looking through the cross stitch kits section as quite a few people don't include proper details in their listing so the search wouldn't pick them up

    Good luck!

My home town is Sheffield, but we moved to just between Mansfield and Newark when the steel works collapsed,I don't get to Bakewell very often but we still call Yorkshire home.I miss the open countryside especially the moors.
Still going with the leopard, have done quite a lot of the background, will try to post a photo later.

Morning all, hope you're all well in stitching land :)

Annie, that historical dress piece is beautiful. I hope you can find it at a price that's good for you as I'd love to see it coming together.

Your teddy bear samplers look lovely, sweetcarer. Makes me think I should do something like that for my boys.

Was someone on here doing a sampler on some dark sparkly fabric? FOS? I seem to remember that from a little while back but not sure if I missed the finished piece.

A little update from me on Grandma's House. It's coming along, but OMG the hearts are a pain in the behind to stitch! It's the colour changes every couple of stitches that drive me mad. I've got a week and a half to finish it before I go up to visit my Mum, which should be do-able.

I also need to get the frame ordered so it's ready to make up once I've finished it. If its a 10" x 11" design, what size of frame should I go for? I wasn't going to go with a mount as the picture on the packet is of it framed without a mount and I like the way that looks. Would a half inch border be enough? Or go for an inch all round?

Lovely updates everyone, grandma's house is coming along great BigBird, I have a couple of updates of my own :) Firstly the latest RF one, the sea of red is coming on, it reminds me of the sea of poppies at the Tower of London, which looks beautiful. I have set a target for RF to be finished on Nov 2nd which was my Granda's Birthday or Nov 11th if I fail that. Second update is my sister's birthday card it contains a little stitch inspired by Sweetcarer.

    Hi everyone,

    Some lovely pics.

Annie021063 - Great progress on NY. I love the historical dress sampler. Goodness knows how long it would take me lol! Hope you find it at a decent price soon.

sweetcarer - such sweet teddy bears for your friend. Looks lovely all framed up.

Maisie M - very cute cards.

*BigBird* - I can see why the hearts are driving you crazy, although it's a lovely design. Hope you get it finished in time eeek!

nmm - RF is looking beautiful and I echo mrs m-p's sentiments about the Tower of London. They will be selling those poppies after November for £25 each and I'd love to get one. Your sister's card is very sweet.

Drum roll please - I thought I'd finished Daisy Girl last night, completed the bottom left corner and did the very minimal back stitching required. Took it off the r&r clip frame and noticed some bits I had 'forgotten' so I've been having a little stitch this afternoon. Almost there, so I'll hopefully be able to post a TaDah picture tonight.

    What to stitch next lol?!

Awwww shucks - looks really pretty, lovely colours.

I am doing a wee quick stitch for someone at work who got engaged in Las Vagas last week - she has always been kind to me, and I know she likes my work and she likes to try to cross stitch herself. Will post a wee picture when done.

The wee teddy was well received by the mum, she is keeping it to her lads birthday. He is always asking why his younger brother has one and not him.

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)
