    Hi everyone,

Another completion - the wee birth sampler for one of the girls at work. She asked me to do this one, as I had done one for her other son when he was born a couple of years ago and the older son asked why he didn't have one. Only thing different, is I was unsure of the frame size I used and the colours are slightly different.

So here is the one I have just done.

I know it looks a wee bit squint at bottom - hope its ok, tried to square it off as best I could.

Here is the one I done for his younger brother years ago - don't know why I don't have a picture of it framed.

I have explained to her about the colour difference. I have laced it in so if need do I can put it in a bigger frame if need to. Hope she likes it.

Annie, if you are not in a hurry for you design - you could wait to see what Ebay turns up or if any of the "shops" have a sale.

    Kind wishes to all,

    sweetcarer ;)

    Hi all

Finally got round to doing some cross stitch. Can't believe that I am back to work in 2 weeks and I haven't done half the things I planned to do over the 7 weeks we have off lol. Too hot - well that's my excuse.

Anyway I have managed to do a Fairy card which has been in my stash for 6 years!! and I have also done a Russian doll and framed it for my neice for her birthday.

I have also done the cross stitch for some little trinket boxes but need to decoupage them first and I have not done this before so a bit daunted by that.

    Annie021063,
    Found it in a shop I use,the Wye Needlecraft .com,in Bakewell,Derbyshire.
But is selling at £99.99 so the one on amazon is cheaper.
They used to have it done and framed in the shop,it is very striking and I should think it might take a few months (cough cough)
I would love to do it,hope you find a cheaper one soon, can't wait to see your progress.

You must be close to me if you go to Bakewell? I'm kind of the other side of Buxton, close to Leek/Macclesfield/Stoke

As it is a kit that has been around for a long time there are probably lots of unopened kits lurking in stitchers' stash cupboards so you may find it appearing on EB again. Have you set up a search alert to let you know if anyone lists one again?

Yeah that's what I was hoping, how might I do that?
