Looks fabulous The colour used for the cushion really sets off your stitching. Expect you can't wait for her to return with it.0 -

Louise, Mrs Ceejay, Annie, absolutely love all the pieces you have been working on and if you asked me to pick a favourite I couldn't as they are all beautiful.
In the vague hope that it might motivate me to carry on with Santa and the Mouse by HAED I will post a picture of where I am up to! :rotfl:

So sorry to hear your ME is playing up. Your Santa and Mouse looks wonderful but stitching that brings you pain is no fun at all. Can you manage just a few stitches and then put it down?0 -

Photo looks a bit weird as cant fit the full pic on my frame so the top part of the stitched border is rolled over.....didn't realise that black settee was on show at the bottom :rotfl:0 -

I'm loving this so far mos but don't push yourself - stitching is what we all love to do but don't do it if it's hurting you.
I'm now on page 6 of the photo stitch. Can't do any at the moment as the people it's for are staying with me for two weeks. The aim is to get it done by October0 -
Hi guys, wonderful updates I love all of them
I have a couple of updates of my own. Firstly my latest RF update and the other is my mums birthday card. Taken from the Vintage Florals booklet that came with WOCS issue 218, the magazine was a thank you gift from some work friends, I was totally surprised by it

Afternoon Ladies :hello:
Hope everyone is well?
Sorry to here your ME is playing up M-O-S, hope you are starting to feel better now. xx
Well no stitching has been done here, not even had time to read the thread. It has been a very busy fortnight in the AM household.
It all started with my FIL going in to hospital for an operation, he came home the same day but wasn't well. We were so worried we rang the hospital who re-admitted him.
He finally came home, but was still not doing great. So hubby has been helping out a lot with them, so I have had the kids to myself, which has proved challenging!
Plus husband has had a lot of work on over the last month so has been working all hours, and juggling everything else.
Then it was school fete, which meant baking cupcakes and sorting some donations for the tombola.
Then we wanted to sort end of year gifts for school, which meant 4 handmade cards and the perfect gift for 1 teacher, 8 nursery staff and 1 head teacher (all have been hugely supportive of us through the last few very tough years with my health and my sons health issues).
So I feel as though we haven't stopped.
On the up side though I was seen in chest clinic - the nodule they found in my lung looks benign! Finally some great news on my health, a very rare thing!
Hoping now it is the holidays we will get a bit of breathing space again and stitching time!
I am going to go have a nosey at all your wonderful works, and then I will master putting photos on! I have a few WIPs and even a finished item I think it is time I shared!
Stitchy wishes to one and all,

Oh forgot to add, I turned the dreaded 30 the other week. Got only one cross stitch kit - a lovely wise guys penguin kit.
I guess I should see that as a hint that I need to finish the Duck one I started years ago! haha!Cross Stitch Cafe Member No: 86 :j0 -
