Thanks so much for the info, appreciate it. Oh dear, at that price the postage makes best value to get 4.....not sure I need 4 :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Hi everyone
What happened to the forum!
Only on for a wee bit - thank you for all your kind comments about my stitching.
I see the topic about needle minders. I ordered this one from Lisa ages ago and I see by my copy of cross stitch collections - subs one came in today, she is an article in it.
Here is the needle minder I got
She has alot of nice designs - the orphan ones are a bit cheaper.
Better go and check on dinner, get it eaten, then its stitchy time
Keep well everyone,

They're playing around with the forum, so if you don't log in it's very white and spaced out. Thread on the feedback board - don't think anyone has liked it yet..........0

Yes I saw it on my other computer that is not logged in, very ugly and hard to navigate, took me ages to find the page numbers :rotfl: I hope the forum doesn't change to it permanently.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

Morning all,
So glad they've put the forum back to normal. I've had such trouble trying to read let alone post....
Not a good week for me as I got heatstroke on Tuesday - I'm a gardener and have not been affected before but oh my days...... severe headache, violent vomiting and delirious. Poor kids thought I was on my way out, as did I. I was on the bed thinking "oh well, I've had some good holidays....." Anyway whilst being sick the loo seat smashed down on my nose, so I've a nice cut and bruises across the bridge - looks really classy NOT! Wouldn't mind but I'm off to London for afternoon tea with friends tomorrow in Knightsbridge - I look like I've been scrapping :-(
Anyway, back on topic! Haven't really felt like stitching this week but did get Daisy Girl out last night. Did some of the grass and some of the white of the daisies, so nothing much to show for it. Hoping to do some more today once I've run an errand for church.
sweetcarer - love the band sampler - are you about halfway now?
nmm - the RF piece looks great already.
Could really do with a needle minder as always losing them down the side of the sofa!!
Have a good day everyone and sorry if I've left anyone out. Not intentional xx

Oh no! Poor you, hope you're feeling better now.
We bought a new sofa recently and whilst dismantling the old one to fit in the car, my brother FOUND four needles  One was a bit rusty but the other three went straight in my pincushion. He was not amused
Supposed to be my day off today but the other two girls are off sick so it's me, myself & I again! Still, 9.5 hours at time and a half equals my car tax next month :money:
Finished my 'Tete a tete' cross stitch on Tuesady, so got out my only WIP, the traditional sampler I started on holiday in March. Took it to craft club last night so managed two hours of uninterrupted stitching on it.
Nothing major planned for tomorrow so should manage a couple of hours. Think it will stitch up quite quickly once I get into the swing of it!
Hope everyone has had a good weekCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -
MrsMilkyBarKid and Sweetcarer Love the needle minders but I don't do Facebook so can't buy any
sweetcarer I noticed the article about the needle minders in the latest issue of Cross Stitch Collection - I haven't had much time to look at it but at first glance I thought the selection of designs was outstanding. There wasn't one I didn't like although not all of them would make it to my ever lengthening to do list
nmm good progress
coxy you poor thing - sunstroke is horrid and the damaged nose is just too much (although it's probably the sort of event you will talk and laugh about once the pain and swelling have gone). I have this picture of you in swanky Knightsbridge looking like a bruiser.....:rotfl:
tricksie ouch about the needles but glad you could salvage 3 of them
I have a telescopic magnet which is very useful for finding dropped needles. Cost me £1 at a stitching show so a great value purchase
As for me I have been very busy at work and home so very little time for stitching
I have made the bee piece into a cushion though - using some bee design fabric from my stash. I even found a cushion inner I had saved when I got rid of some old cushion covers I didn't like so this piece hasn't cost me anything :money: (I know the materials cost when I first bought them but that was years ago)To Bee or Not To Bee Cushion by stitchyfeather, on Flickr

Hi,
Just back from holiday in n.wales had fantastic weather, know what Coxy means,I have burnt my scalp, never done that before, very tender!
Hope you feel better soon Coxy,I have every sympathy.
Finally sorted the little Spider-Man kit,I was sent another kit, which unfortunately was all different colours,so what I had done had to be taken out,I was not a happy stitcher but I have nearly finished it.
Think I will do the Christmas tree one next, might get it done for Christmas, not saying which one!!!!
Flowers
Your cushion is just lovely, the bee design material really sets it off.
Nmm
It's coming on really quickly.
Raining here so I think coffee and sewing is in order, have a good weekend x0
