Afternoon,
Over the top is coming along quite quickly, only started it on Sunday night:0 -
Evening Ladies,
Thanks for the warm welcome back.
Thanks for the tip FOS - (and the welcome back)I haven't taken any photos yet, still have quite a few normal stitches to do, but will do a pre BS photo (well almost pre BS - tried to do a small bit of BS earlier on in the project to avoid doing the whole lot in one go, but got bored and went back to the x stitch parts).
I have been rubbish at photographing any of my work lately, I sewed a minion on to my sons t-shirt a few months back and am yet to take a picture. I need to get back in to doing them, as I do think it helps with the motivation. Though with minion my 4 year old nagging me for it proved effective motivation :rotfl:
JCS1- That is coming along very quick, it is looking good already!
nmm - Those finished pieces look amazing! I remember you starting BD, and I am glad I have returned to see it finished
mrs-moneypenny - Congratulations on your win, I especially like the round robin chart.
b-e-g - thanks for the welcome back, I hope you manage to find some stitchy time very soon xx
Well I intend to grab a bit more stitchy time now as the hubby has gone to do story time with the children, so feet up, cup of something very cold and my cross stitch here I come!
Happy stitching everyone,

I think it's catching. I had to unpick a whole motif I had stitched in the wrong place on a Jane Austen piece I'm doing
This is a photo from a few days ago before I made the mistake

Thanks again ladies for the lovely comments, I can't stop staring at them, Czar looks bigger than before must be the more open frame
JCS1, great start on over the top, on RF I have completed the sky on 1 page and doing the sky on the other page now, its all half stitches so comes together quickly too.
Mrs MP, I love the tribal tiger its very tattoo like, I should enter more competitions I think, free stash
FOS, grrr at unpicking but the piece is looking very nice.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
I am doing so well these days- the only stash I have bought was a piece of fabric for the SAL.
I have completed the SAL, and the anniversary gift for my friend- he is coming to collect it on Mon. Since I was framing that I ended up framing a few other pieces as well, I will post pics tomorrow.
The Range is brilliant for frames, I'm so glad they opened a shop near us!Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Hi everyone,
nmm - wow, the frames pieces are just stunning. Well done.
mrs m-p - well done on the competition wins. I love the tiger.
JCS1 - over the top is looking good already.
fos - love the Jane Austen piece.
I haven't done much on Daisy Girl this week as work has gone crazy (gardener) and my Dad was here for two days which pretty much scuppers anything else!
Will post a pic in the next post. I've also started a crocheted cushion cover as our box room is now my space(!) so I've decided to decorate it with lovely things!
Have a good Sunday all.
