Does anyone here have a caravan or go on caravan holidays? The reason I ask is I love to do cross stitching when I am away but I find the lack of light a problem and I really don't have space to take my crafting lamp and wondered if anyone had managed to find a good source of light that is easy to transport?

Ikea do a series of lamps called Jansjo in both clip on style or free standing. I have a clip on one and it's really handy as a back up incase my over head bulb blows and hubby isn't around to change it.

I've ordered the WW1 kit. Seems a fitting tribute to stich this centenary year.

How do we opt out of having photos we put in this thread "pinned"?
  • Hi,

If you don't want forum users or us to pin them add a clear note in any posts you've made with pictures so people know.

It can't always be controlled I'm afraid as Pinterest automatically pulls in pictures from the thread without the text but we'll certainly try not to use one if someone's asked not to. If we do use one, let us know.

Oh dear. That's me not posting any pictures here then. I'd prefer a decent "opt out" rather than a blanket "opt in but we'll take them down if you ask us".

The Flickr group's still going though, ladies, so keep posting them there :)

If you go to the group - link on post 1 I think there should be an option to "join". We've kept it to approved people only so we're all comfortable posting on there. Let me know when you've done that and I'll go and approve you :)

(If your Flickr user name is different to here, let me know by PM so I know who to approve!)

Me too. You would have thought they would have asked before going ahead and setting everything up.
