I don't think it will make any difference whether you use 25 or 28 ct - it will just mean that the design will be a little bit smaller and I would still use 2 over 2. I usually allow a couple of inches all the way round for framing so I would be looking at a piece about 10" x 10". See what the others in the Cafe think.
Has anyone received the latest WOCS? I started a new sub and I thought I would have received this issue as I had ordered it in plenty of time. Bet they've taken dd for it.
No more stitching on Red Tree so far.
Have a lovely weekend

Mine arrived Sat 17th. Issue 217. According to the WOCS diary it was due on Thurs 22nd. There wasn't much in it for me but we all have different tastes:)0 -

Hello Girls,
Warning long post with lots of pictures
I have now finished another band in the learning sampler -band 9 - so just about halfway there. I managed this band but found it difficult in parts, so not entirely happy with it, hubby reassures me it looks fine but he is biased.
So here is band 9.
Here is a close up of the stitches - square algerian eye, double herringbone and lattice stitch.
The square algerian is the two outer bands, the working inward you get the double herringbone and then sandwiched in the middle is the lattice stitch.
So that means I have added 4 more stitches to my wee stitch book - square algerian eye, double herringbone, lattice stitch and I have also added the single herringbone - you need it to make the double.
Square Algerian Eye
Single Herringbone
Double Herringbone
Lattice Stitch
Think the lattice stitch is my favourite one.
Managed to finish all my overtime, so hopefully can get on with more stitching
Hope all are well,

Sweetcarer,
It's just exquisite, the little stitch book looks fantastic, each time a new stitch appears I have ago,I know some stitches but not their name,
Have been doing a little Lego spider man for the GS1,won't take long I thought, famous last words.
The chart is printed in colour, with symbols.
Only trouble is they don't match, one symbol in part of the red on the chart is blue on the list of symbols.
I have complained to the vender, they are going to look in to it!!!!
I have spent the best part of a week trying to make sense of it,so annoying, never been beaten by a chart before.
Have a good day,it's still sunny here but will it last.0
