coxythanks for the photos. Love them
The doll's house is stunning and amazing that it was your first piece. I started with small and easy and can't imagine doing anything like that when I first began. Lovely knot garden. Beautiful shades. What a lively birthday present. It looks vaguely familiar Who us the designer?
sweetcarer. Beautiful update. I love the way the colours blend into one another. Have it agree about shows. I still go to one or two a year but only if they are fairly local and I can get a cheap or free ticket The last one I went to there wasn't as much card making but there was a lot of knitting and crochet (which I don't do) and some patchwork (which I do so happy with those). Must be difficult for the organisers. And then at the other end of the scale the really big shows like the Festival of Quilts has too much to see in a single day
Louise. Looking forward to seeing your piece for your friend. Are you designing it as well as stitching it?0 -

Lovely updates everyone, too many to comment on individually, I will say I like the Unicorn card from Louise, I was looking at a similar design for my niece
My work friend totally loved Floral Cat, she said it was beautiful
I've managed to squeeze in a few extra hours stitching this week and completed page 15 :j Onto the last page which will be super easy as over half of it is the same colour in nice big chunks.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

This is lovely...frame finishes it off perfectly :T
Elvis hasn't moved on much, I ended up working overtime again and lost interest in stitching as too tired
Have been off all weekend but too much to do and I was in bed by 9 last night
Going to try and do a bit tonight, hopefully wont be too tired.....she says as trying not to yawn :rotfl:0 -
Evening all
I have a question for you all. When I stitch I sometimes have trouble hanging on to my needle, my fingers get slippy/smooth and I lose grip. Does anyone else suffer from this and if so how do you get over it?
Thanks0
