Hello all,
Fos - love the latest updates, especially the honeycomb fabric.
Nmm - great progress on BD.
Went to ikea this morning with DS2 as his school is shut for polling. Wanted to get DD her wardrobe but the packs were too heavy to liftDid pick up a £4 frame for the stockings though so not a completely wasted journey :rotfl:

Have finished the housework I wanted to do, so I plan to stitch this afternoon - bliss.
Coxy
The frame really sets off the stitching - it looks almost like a photo (that is a compliment)
What a shame it will be put away until Christmas (I assume)0 -
stockings looks beautiful all framed up coxySPC~12 ot 124

As well as the above I also started on another piece - I found this chart in my stash together with a piece of "honeycomb" design evenweave. The chart uses DMC (which I already have and best of all I am using up left over lengths from previous projects :money:) plus 2 shades of hand dyed thread (green and pink) - for these I am using threads I already have, not the ones called for.

and this is what I stitched at the weekend (have done a bit more since)image by stitchyfeather, on Flickr
Am looking forward to another long weekend where I should be able to find some quality stitching hours - hope everyone else does too.
Love your pics fos. I have never seen honeycomb evenweave before - it adds a lovely touch.
Making great progress nmm. :T
Frame and mount really do those stockings justice Coxy. I love Ikea frames.

One of the teenage girls I work with asked me if there were any Unicorns at Edinburgh zoo (seriously!)
