nmm - I love the sunflowers, so bright and cheerful.

Welcome to the cafe cupcakequeen. I have just started a wedding sampler - sew and so is great to find kits and charts, trouble is deciding which one!

I finally got a frame for my Dolly mama, couldn't find the right colour so bought a plain one and painted it with a tester pot, was very cheap and got the colour I wanted

hey peeps - quick question - did anyone else get the Hobbycraft VIP email giving them 15% off tomorrow? did your images show up? I can't view mine at all the the 'view in web page' link doesn't work. I tried tweeting them but they don't reply.

Coxy11 - I recently purchased the kit below for a Golden Wedding (comes in Gold, Silver, Ruby and Sapphire) and was really impressed. Threads were all DMC and all beads, needles and very detailed instructions(even for lacing) included for a very reasonable price. Designer was very kind and helpful too. I haven't finished it yet but will post pic when I do. It is very quick to stitch though. Have had to change it a little to fit in the names.

Emily Dolly looks perfect in that frame well done on a brill choice and work with painting it.

Thanks for the kind comments about my wedding sampler but it would show when the piece was stretched and framed so it has now been unpicked and re stitched so I am back to where I thought I was on Sunday night

Ayeshalush - I love that sampler and looking forward to seeing your picture. Great idea to be able to get it for different anniversaries. Been trying to think if we have anyone's anniversary coming up but have drawn a blank and I don't really want to get it just to stick it in the cupboard.

I had one for a VIP event at my local store for yesterday which worked fine. Didn't go as I popped in there on Monday and bought the one skein of DMC I needed for my sampler.
