Coxy – glad the skiing went well. Was it one of your Scouts on the Radio 2 breakfast show yesterday morning? If so they were telling the world how fantastic it was. If it wasn’t I’m sure the rest of the Scouts enjoyed it, unfortunately there’s normally one ungrateful little ****. I run a Cub pack so I know how disheartening it is when someone makes a comment even if they say it as a joke. Keep up the good work.
Yes Ailsb - that was one of our boysand no the other boy wasn't joking although he is 'on the spectrum' which makes me cross because he always puts it down to that rather than rudeness and bad manners
Still no cross-stitching done by me - too pooped last night, and tonight I am running the youth club. I have, however, crocheted a stingray and some seaweed for the church 'harvest from the sea' display. Must update my 14 in 14 list.

nmm - BD is looking fab :TEmily926 - cute card - was that for valentines?Emily – I would have voted for the sampler you went for as well. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Your little cat is lovely, is it earmarked for someone?
If I was more organised I would have made it for valentines, I've just popped it into my card box for now!
I have made a start on my sampler but made a mistake and have had to unpick a couple of rows  still at least I spotted it early I guess!DD born 14/12/11

finished working that little linen project i mentioned. i didnt use the right threads as i was just playing. but i really like how this chart has turned out and i will be using it again. its a welsh chart from a company called croes bwyth nia cross stitch. o the chart it has the word Cariad below the heart. my sisters hubby is from wales and their anni only falls every 4 years as they married on leap year so im planning to make them something with it on. (but i think i have till next year for that)
i might use this on a cushion im planning to make for my mum using my old bridesmaids dress as the colours should work with that.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi guys my latest BD update, here is where I was on sunday
And now.......TADA I've finished 12/16 pages, i'm on the last stretch only 4 pages, approx. 45 rows of stitching to go :j
Wow you're nearly there. He is looking fantastic. :TMy update – I’ve finished the full skirt on the last wife and have started the bodice, however I have a stinking cold and my eyes keep running so I can’t stitch at the moment. Also, my nephew and his wife moved today so I need to do them a new home piece. Thinking of using the Home Sweet Home design from the Dictionary of Homes design. This means Henry will have to take a back seat. Also, my hubby bought me a cross stitch for valentines day – we normally don’t bother. Its only a basic kit on 14 count and is of a gnome sitting on a ball of wool knitting from a spiders web. Will try to post a picture of it at some point. Have promised myself I won’t start it until Henry is finished.
Hope you're feeling better Ailsb. Looking forward to seeing Henry and your gnome.mrs-moneypenny wrote: »finished working that little linen project i mentioned. i didnt use the right threads as i was just playing. but i really like how this chart has turned out and i will be using it again. its a welsh chart from a company called croes bwyth nia cross stitch. o the chart it has the word Cariad below the heart. my sisters hubby is from wales and their anni only falls every 4 years as they married on leap year so im planning to make them something with it on. Oh I like that Mrs. M. Bet your mum will love the cushion. What a lovely idea to use bridesmaid dress.

Well done on rescuing the little tiger cub. He looks so lovely. Looking forward to seeing cushion.Housework??? what's that
. On with the sixth knitted square - only another two to go I think. They maybe aren't great but I think I'm going to get away with two balls of wool (£2.70) so I don't think it will break the bank.
As much as I am enjoying the knitting (I think), I am looking forward getting on with some stitching.
