The new DMC colours are available at Cross Stitch Heaven for £8 clicky, they came out last year sometime.
Mrs-Moneypenny, congrats on completing Titanic :T Dare I ask whats next?
Louise, the dmc colours are looking great
Chicky, glad I could help jog your memory, hope you're making good progress on it.
AlisB, lovely update its a very unusual kit.
Mrs Ceejay, the dinos look really colourful stitched up, I hope you finish them on time.
Ems, your grandparents stitch looks so nice, the photo stitches up better than I imagined it. How did you convert it?
MasieM & FOS, great finished pieces, they are all perfect
Emily, dolly is cool, I have a book full of similar designs somewhere.
I used the website photo2stitch and they sent me a kit - wasn't going to risk doing my own pattern when i'm a newbie at it. Plus they are the people i miss most in my life, as does my mum, so i really needed to do a good job.
mrs moneypenny - loving the Titanic pic0 -

Thanks for all the lovely comments on Dolly, have been feeling a tad under the weather since the weekend so haven't started anything else yet but am looking at matching wedding and birth samplers. I have been looking for a while and keep going back to the tatty teddy range as they have a lot to choose from.DD born 14/12/11

Mrs MP - congratulations on finishing Titanic:j It is amazing and I bet you are so pleased with it. Have to say I didn't think you would have it finished until the summer as I know you said you preferred working on the dark material in the brighter weather but you have been so busy on it this week.0

That Titanic stitching is FANTASTIC!!! Huge well done-especially for finishing it at this time of year with the poor light. I was actually watching a Titanic programme the day you finished it. I'd recorded it ages ago and it was on the planner in the bedroom. Everything Titanic related fascinates me. I love reading about it or watching programmes about it.
Lots of other great finishes too. I do like the Dolly Mamas range. I've just noticed my Christmas one is still up. Oops!
Sweetcarer, are you checking in every now and then? We miss you and I'm thinking of you every day. Sending hugs...
I haven't forgotten about the promised pic of my crochet scarf. It's just...um...I've kind of misplaced it! Have finally tracked it down to the pub where I had lunch on Friday, so I'll need to collect it. I'm such a muppet! Am doing another one in the same design, but purple sparkly wool. Just to get used to the stitches and tension (although the lady who taught me did say my tension was good. I think it's the cross stitch that helps with that) and next I'm going to try and crochet a blanket/throw. I bought some variegated wool and if it comes out ok, I might even try doing a baby blanket for a friend who is due in May.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
