I finished the threads from my second box on my DMC chart. I was about to post a pic but never realised I can't get the IMG code while accessing from the kindle :-/ Will try from my phone, if not I will post tomorrow.
Got to it eventually

Present for neice

Thank you to whoever it was who suggested Ikea for Emily's Dolly Mama's picture. I saw this one when I looked at the links and it was perfect for my niece. Once I had completed that I decided to do a kit from a magazine for her card so got that one done and dusted too.

An finally before I use up an entire page of the cafe a small card I had done at the same time as the other ones I posted but for some reason didn't include with the photos - another freebie kit gone!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.0 -
Kez - Dictionary of tea is coming along grand.
Fos - love the wedding sampler. Is it cream linen that you are stitching on? You have some beautiful finished works and your framer has done a fantastic job on them. Geisha will look fab as a cushion.
Ericsmum the dog is lovely and so realistic looking.
beg - glad that coffeegate was not a complete disaster but still annoying.
tricksie - love the new kit you bought at the show. Very pretty and looking forward to seeing progress.
coxy - the stockings are coming along grand. Good idea to do some black in between the colours and it's so tempting to leave the boring bits to the end.
nmm - BD is looking amazing. Have you far to go?
chickywiggle loving your Hallowe'en sampler my boys would love that.
Mrsmp wow what a huge amount of progress on Titanic. It looks like a photo. It is amazing.
Mrs Ceejay the dinosaurs are coming along great. They are so colourful.
Emily Dolly Mamma looks fabulous. I love the design and the colours are amazing.
Emslovesmickey your nan and grandad look great. Bet you are really proud of it.
Louise hope you are feeling a bit better. Your DMC chart looks great and such a handy reference for the future.0 -
So much to catch up on

Apologies for the length of this post.
nmm - great progress on BD, not much more to go by the looks of it.
Maria - hope you are OK.
MrsMP - Titantic looks really good and I do think you are to be praised for doing this a second time I don't think I could have done it. As for the Valentines Word Art I will have to find my CSCS 89 out although I think it's too late for this year might see if it's appropriate for anniversary instead.
EM - Jack's great and looks really lifelike.
Kez - as normal I like your tea design.
MrsCJ - Your dinosaur piece is lovely, I'm sure you'll get it finished in time.
BEG - I've used Thread Heaven before when using metallic thread and it makes it a lot easier to use.
Emily - Dolly is lovely - well done. Did you sort a frame out for her? Very well restrained on not buying another kit.
Emslovesmickey - your photo-stitch is fantastic and so detailed. I agree with FOS you should expect tears when you give it.
FOS - Your dictionary of cakes and the ABC of Needlework look really lovely and very professionally framed, do you pay a lot to have them done? I think Geisha will look lovely as a cushion.
Louise - Your DMC colours piece is great but it does mean you will NEED to get the colours that you don't have in order to finish the piece.
Maisie - Thank you for sharing your finished makes they are all lovely.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

I've finished Catherine of Aragon so that's 3 wives down 3 to go.

Really pleased with how this is stitching up. Averaging one person a week so if I can keep going I should be finished in 4 weeks. That's allowing 1 week per person and 1 week to do the border and back stitch. I would to have it finished before the end of March so that's leaving a couple of weeks for any slack.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

I did think about that before I started but aside from the variegated threads at the start I have only found two so far that I need to buy and I'm nearly halfway - I obviously haven't needed those colours in the past 15 years :rotfl:
Your 'Henry' piece is really coming along well, it's looking fantastic :TCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Well done ems on your photo stitch. Looks really great and they look such a lovely couple. I bet there will be damp eyes all around. Didn't seem to take you too long to stitch.
