JSC1 - looking good. When's it needed by?

Coxy - you seem to have stitchedbthis really quickly, well done. Yes my son lives with us, he's 15. Luckily (!) he's a typical teenager and spends lots of time in his bedroom.

FOS - like the idea of the tea design being used for coasters. Might have to think about this as thjnking of doing coasters as a Christmas present for my sister.

Friends picked sampler after their daughter was born, so no deadline. She's now 4 months old

As I settle back into a routine, the Christmas festivities/holiday seem like a distant memory. :-/

I've not started the year off in a crafty way but hope to pick up my needle again soon and get some stitching done.

I did treat myself to some lu$h products today - courtesy of a voucher I received but didn't get anything stitchy wise for xmas nor have I treated myself to any stitchy stuff - I've been keeping my eye on sew and so but nothing new has jumped out (not that I need any more stash) :rotfl:

I've been pondering over replacing/getting a new mp3 player but apple ones cost a lot so I think I will wait for the minute.

I hope everyone is keeping well and is busy stitching.

Can't believe either that its nearly 3 weeks since xmas. Seemed to have flown by quickly - put it down to being poorly for xmas. :(

Every time I go anywhere near L$sh, DH and DS steer me well clear as the smell from the shop gives them really back headaches - I reckon its a ploy to save pennies.:D

Hope it won't be too long til you have your stitching back in your hand FE.

Managed some stitching this afternoon when I got back from hairdressers. Might try and get a pic tomorrow - think I maybe said that during the week too :o

Just had some lovely homemade fish pie courtesy of DH and settling down now with a lovely chilled glass of Prosecco.

Going to settle down soon to watch The Voice. Don't know what I think of the new judges - only time will tell. Think I could do with a pint of whatever Will I am has had - he is one crazy thing def on another planet. :rotfl:

    Have a good night everyone

I used to shop in Lu%h all the time and as I didn't have a shop local to me, I would always stock up. Now I do and I rarely go in! Its still very expensive and instead of having change from my voucher (£40), I had to pay £12 odd on top  and I still didn't get everything I wanted..... I find the staff a bit too pushy and there are no more of the free gifts/promotions that they used to run. Its s shame as the products they sell are lovely but really are they worth the price they charge??

So a busy day planned so no time for sitting on the sofa today but my morning routine has changed in the week so I will find myself with extra time, its just deciding whether I spend it stitching/reading or doing housework (thus freeing up housework time at the weekend).

Have a lovely day all x

FE - if I had a bit of extra time each morning where I could do a hit of housework to free up a larger chunk of the weekend I'd do that. In fact this is what I do Thursday and Friday. However it is then rarethat I actually do any stitching on the weekend.

Having said that I did stitch yesterday afternoon whilst watching I Partridge. As a result I've finished Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock.

Having trouble pasting the picture so may have to do a separate post for it. Off shoppingnow then will decide what to start next.
