Swetcarer - thanks for this. I've jlined the facebook group and I'm going to order some thread. Not sure whether to just order 10 to see if the order comes through ok or go the whole hog and order 100. Has anyone else used this site?
Louise - thanks for the advice about Croos Stitch Heaven, I've ordered from them before but must admit I'd forgotten. I'm not going to order dmc from here but have been very naughty and ordered The Stitchers Days of Christmas chart (£5.50) and a small beaded design called Love Stitching (£2.50). I know I wasn't meant to be buying more but my finger slipped:DCross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

I always work on one at a time and don't leave anything unfinished. I've finished off several things Mum started and now abandoned due to worsening eyesight, even though I don't like some of them.0

Normally one at a time but will put it aside for an emergency card. Currently working on some labels for my my button, ribbon and needle storage jars. Started the third one last night. Going to do a Cross Stitch Witch pin cushion after that and then who knows??!!Swetcarer - thanks for this. I've jlined the facebook group and I'm going to order some thread. I was following this facebook group for about a month before Christmas and she has a lot of happy customers so think it safe to order from her. Payment is by Paypal so you have that peace of mind too.

I have three on the go at the moment, but only so that I can switch between them when I get bored. Also, the tiger I'm stitching is on black aida, which I cannot see well enough to work on after dark! Working on a tatty teddy one and my yoshi home sweet home (still!).0 -
Morning!
Continued to work on the blackwork sampler last night, with the green thread I had to buy in HC. Can you believe I ran out of a blue as well  I am seriously squeaky and hardly leave any thread when casting off. So back to HC this morning for another 80p spend.
I've also realised that the chart has several errors - either symbols missing or the wrong symbol printed. Luckily I realised this, so could correct it, but still
Ordered some coasters from fleabay - 10 for £9.99 with free p&p. Will make some up for Christmas pressies I think
Have a good day all

Coxy - I know it's not going to help you but I've stumbled across this site that sells a number of items for cross stitch.

They are based in Birmingham and you can collect from them to save on postage as well. There is no minimum order either. I'm toying with buying some coasters and some keyrings, possibly might getvsome magnets as well. Thinking of Christmas presents.
Tricksie - thanks for the info. I've sent her a message and I'm going to order a large number (100) from her. Will let people know how I get on.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j
