  • I have been neglecting my cross stitch this last week or so as I have been busy making window quilts, hoping to get them finished by tomorrow evening and really looking forward to picking up my stitching again and catching up with you all.

Hope everyone is well, keep safe and warm x

    Hi everyone,

Here are some pics of the cards and bookmarks I've made to sell in aid of the Guides trip to Switzerland next year. I have made 10 bookmarks and 16 cards. A friend has also made some friendship bracelets. Do you think £2 for a card and £1.50 for a bookmark is about right?

Going to make a start on something new for me tonight ;) Will post pics when I've decided which kit from my stash it's going to be :rotfl:

    Take care all

  • Afternoon all,

Sorry I have been AWOL, got called away on a family emergency only had my phone, no other interwebs access.

Just wanted to add that a candle was lit last night and prayers go out to all affected by such a tragic loss.

So, you've all been mighty busy :) Even though I haven't been here I've been reading all of your updates and found it strangely therapeutic over the last couple of weeks just to be able to look at all your pretty pictures. Thank you all, very much indeed.

    And here's my update. Before:

Hope everyone is keeping warm, am sending lots of love to all.

  • Had a few spare moments at lunchtime so I took a some pics of the cards I have made up over the last couple of days.
Loved this little fella from the first time I saw him. Will keep as a spare card that can be used for 'thank you' or 'thinking of you'.

Thought I may as well use some of the free kits rather than just store them in my stash box.

Boofle is still awaiting his backstitch and french knots and I dont think there is much chance of him getting them tonight. :(

Good luck Maria with advent calendar.

    Take care everyone
