    Morning!

Lovely cards b_e_g although I will now have to redo my exchange piece as I've adapted one of those designs :o:):o:o

This is my next project, bought for me by Mum about 5years ago! It's 'advanced' level which I think is more to do with it being on evenweave than the design itself. Looking forward to the structure a sampler brings iyswim? Being a Virgo I'm very methodical which I think is why I struggled with flower shop so much :rotfl:

I'm decorating the porch today, off to Bruges for the day tomorrow and working on Sunday. Will hopefully make some progress next week.

    Take care all

  • Coxy, i dont see why you have to redo your exchange piece just because someone has posted a photo of a similar one they've made, no one knows what your piece looks like yet or who it is for so. whoever it is im sure they'd still be happy to receive it.
love the look of your next project, and cant wait tosee update photos for that. I do like blackwork

Surely it isn't necessary to redo exchange piece. Whichever design any of us receive will really appreciate it and know the effort that has been put into it. ;)

Love your new project. Good luck with decorating. Enjoy Bruges :j.

Having a quick bite to eat and then we are off hospital visiting. Lovely sunny day here but quite damp. Waste of time hanging washing out on line as it will be in the shade. :(

    Take care eveyone

PS Tried to have a go at the bs on Boofle this morning and it just wasn't working out - must have been before my eyes were awake. Might have to leave it until tomorrow now.

I'm announcing November as a waste of a month and looking forward to December.

Hubby was driving home last night and the car broke down, he was with the AA until 1am and got it recovered to the garage this morning - don't know what is wrong or what it will cost atm. So that makes 3 lots of vehicle expenses (this, the tyres and the fact Hubby had a bump last week = insurance ) and he three lots of electronic problems (2 phones and laptop screen, hubby dropped his phone in coke the other night but thankfully the rice tricked worked!) and so far we have had a broken washing machine and dishwasher...waiting for the third household item to make the set. :rotfl:

I'm laughing but deep down I'm peed off

DS1 was at the hospital yesterday then had to go back this morning for a skin biopsy, results for that in 6 weeks......he was very brave, not a peep, he is just pleased to get out of PE classes until his stitches get taken out.

On a stitchy note (sorry for the moan above).......My 6 requested names are all completed and I have framed 4 of them so far. Going to do the last 2 tonight, and frame two small Xmas design letters I have made for a niece and nephew. Will post pics of them all once I'm finished :)

    Grump over.....roll on December!!!:T

Coffeeandstitches - that is coming along nicely, I can see what the stitches are forming now :)

Coxy - Sorry to hear about your framing problem, but you did a good job of repairing it yourself. Your cards and bookmarks are great - I hope you sell them all :T Good luck with your next project

b_e_g - your cards are lovely, I have the same ones somewhere but haven't got round to stitching any yet. I like the little bird best :)

Mrsm - Tool box looks great, have fun with the BMW logo :D

Glad you can :) DH and I are still struggling, think it will start coming together very soon though.

Loving all the card pictures! And the toolbox is so pretty! Hope everyone has lovely stitching time this weekend :j

I've been feeling a stupid amount of unbridled joy over the last 2 days. I've made a decision to start another HAED, because I'm enjoying this one so much. I've been looking at fabrics and floss and generally preparing, and the excitement I'm feeling is just crazy! DH has remarked that it's like we are going on holiday lol. Anyone else have this?
