Louise - hope your luck changes soon.
Coffee - have you chosen which HAED to do next?
Just a flying visit from me I'm afraid - just had a lovely chicken dinner with yorkshire puds and now we are off out to visit s-i-l.
Stitching might slow up a bit for me from now til xmas as I have just received notification that my library book has come in - Philomena. Would have really liked to go to the cinema but I seem to get restless when I go so I will wait until the dvd comes out and watch it with Mum in comfort on the sofa
Hope you all manage some stitching time over the weekend. Cant believe its only about a week til we post our exchanges :j.

beg, i went to see Philomena with free tickets from here, it was really really good -but did make me cry at how badly she and the other mums were treated. it made me want to read to the, let me know what you think of it please.
i got a book in the post today. 'the house we grew up in', im supposed to read it as quickly as i can then do some kind of questionaire on it.
made a start on the bmw logo have done the black outer the white quarters, all was going well till i reaslied id missed a stitch out on the first row so its got an odd number of stitches across so one row higher than wider ifywim so ive had to do a weird little row of half cross stitches up the centre of the quarters
have a good weekend allSPC~12 ot 124

Will have to curtail time on the laptop as well I think. Will let you know how I get on with book. I usually prefer books to films but I will reserve judgement until I have done both.
Hope you manage to fiddle around with the logo so that you get the results you want. Looking forward to seeing a piccie.

Louise
Hope your luck changes with bells on!0 -
Just got back from s-i-l's and I realised I had forgotten to show you the birthday card I did for her birthday. She still had it on display since Monday and said it was too nice to stick in a drawer.
Had to de-ice the car yet again tonight - down to -1 deg.
Night Night

Coxy love all the bookmarks and cards. I hope you manage to sell them all as they are lovely. Your new sampler looks really interesting and am looking forward to seeing it progress. Have a lovely time in Bruges.
beg - love the cards. I have them all in my stash to do too and its lovely to see how they should look when finished. My aim next year is to do all my kits in stash and have them made up before I start anything else and also to finish my two WIPI really love the poppy you did for your sister in law, fabulous choice for a November birthday. Totally feel your pain re the deicing of cars, it was -5 here yesterday at 8:30am!
Mrs MP - the toolbox looks great and I am sure your daughter will love it. Good luck with the BMW logo. Is the book you have by anyone famous - it kind of sounds like that sort of thing?
Louise - big hugs honey. What a terrible month, hope December gets a lot better for you.
Coffeandstitches - you can definately see the picture appearing now and you seem to be getting on with it so quickly. Glad you are excited about your next HAED - which one have you picked (or have you already said and I missed that?)
Anyway nearly finished my exchange piece and just need to get a couple of bits today whilst I am out to finish it off. DH and I are going xmas shopping down to Livingstone. My parents are looking after the boys so we are off out for lunch too - so excited it's like being a grown up again lol.0 -

That's what I thought - the poppy would work well for a November birthday.I have been trying to use up a few of the kits I have stored away - some of them are ok and work well. It saves having to sort fabric and threads too. :rotfl:
Hope you have a lovely day. My cousin used to live in Livingstone but moved a few year ago and now they are quite near the airport (Newbridge ?). We paid them a visit in September.
Well I really should be getting dressed now (don't worry I've got my big thick fluffy dressing gown on) as we need to get a shift on this morning.
Have a lovely weekend whatever you're up to. I really need to do the bs and french knots on Boofle.
