  • I never knew or spoke to Soulie, but she has obviously had a massive impact here and I think all of your stitches show that, I think her family would be touched with such support.

I agree, lovely tributes for a special person x

Shelly has bagged the water garden chart - all others still available.

I collected French flower shop today from the framers. Disaster - fluff inside the frame and he had made no attempt to square the design so the mount and frame were plumb but the design was wonky beyond belief. He insisted that it was the best he could do and suggested a smaller aperture would help? I ended up bring it home and DH and I have taken it apart and done it ourselves. It is hanging in the hall so apologies for the glare from the light fitting.

Hi all some really lovely makes. Will hopefully catch up and post properly tomorrow.

Really just popping in to share some good news. As some of you know I've been having a few tests at the hospital later due to bowel problems. Ive had the results of my last test and had the all clear and no further treatment.

Also, I've finished my exchange piece plus another that I'm deliberating over. Have also knitted a hat, a pair of slipper bootee s and made 5 bracelets.

Will say a prayer for Soulies family tomorrow and try to make a start on her memory piece.

I have the starry night chart in my stash. Looked at it yesterday when I was culling magazine charts but put it back again sharpish. I will do it but think it's a summer project when the evenings are longer and lighter.

Good news on your results :)

I finished and made up my exchange piece yesterday. Even remembered to take a photo before sealing the envelope. I framed DD's Christmas present yesterday and finished off three scarves for girls at work.

Presents are all wrapped and cards all written so can relax and stitch for the whole of December with a smug look on my face :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
