If anyone wants any of these please PM me. I'm happy to send for free and if you want to contribute towards the cost, perhaps you could make a donation to a cancer charity in Soulie's memory? Hope that's okay??

    Coxy

Thank you for this idea. Family's chosen charity is Macmillan nurses, though I am sure any cancer charity would be perfect.

I have a few cover kits and things I won't stitch, will dig them out over the next few days and post on here

I have someone wanting to buy me a cross stitch kit for Christmas. There's no budget so I can ask for whatever I want, but I don't know what I want!

What a lucky woman! If someone was to say that to me, I would certainly go for something that was sizable and has a lot of content, so that I was getting my money's worth! I would probably take a look at Dimensions Gold Collection as these tend to be more picture like. This one is pretty: Butterfly Forest
Here's the rest of SewandSo's collection (about middle to miss the Christmas ones)

tricksie: Love your signature! Might have to adopt that for next year!

I haven't got a current picture of the square I am working on for mum's heirloom quilt. However here is a picture of the centre piece and 4 squares that I have already completed:

Do you mean my New Years resolution?

I have been ever so good (if you're listening Santa) I bought a chart of Lemmy from etsy a few weeks ago but that is about it. I have ebayed a few kits I no longer liked and finished all my WIP's.

I'm off to the stitch show at Sandown Park in January so am looking forward to running a muck then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have about five kits left in my stash and a full set of DMC threads so will not get bored!

nmm - That Lion is beautiful, and about the right size too I think. He might be my winner so far. I'm going to be going to hobbycraft soon to have a browse and see if they have any inspiration for me. Something like that lion but without the background would be perfect.

Hey everyone, thanks for the get well messages. mouth ulcer is going down but cold is hanging on.

Came home early from work to see if I can get on top of it, so sitting in my pj's, throw on top, hot cuppa and cat at my feet

    Evening everyone

Think I have managed to upload Soulie's pic onto Flickr. I still find Flickr a bit of a hit and miss affair with me. If if needs any corrections, please feel free to point me in the right direction.

    Hi ladies.
Not posted in a while so apologies for going over old ground.

Louise. Look forward to seeing your finished names, you are zipping through them by the sounds of it.

JCS. Nice birth sampler update, coming along nicely. Very nice framed pieces, I especially like the Rennie Mackintosh flowers.

Coxy. Very nice Advent Panel, it's lovely.

    beg. 12 days looks fab!

    Mrsceejay. Nice peacock progress.

Sweetcarer. Nice updates on both your pieces. The more I see of the Learning sampler, the more I love it!

mos. Look forward to seeing the stocking made up.

Mrsmp. Nice candle. I'm not usually a fan of moths either but that design is beautiful, I really like it.

Kez. Nice to see you back! Heirloom quilt is lovely.

pm. Hope you continue to feel better.

Welcome back to those who haven't been here for a while, nice to hear from you all again.

No stitching here for a few days. With it being so chilly I have been swaddling myself in a throw and watching tv in the afternoons :o

Hi all - haven't been keeping up with everything, not had the greatest week - bad enough paying £500 for new tyres last Wed, but then the cat knocked my phone off a table and cracked the screen, my laptop fell and the screen smashed and last night DH dropped his phone into a glass of coke and that's busted as well.....expensive week! :(:(

Still...everyone has their health so I will count my blessings. DD's 3 best friends were off with hand foot and mouth disease last week and she thankfully managed to avoid it.

Going out tonight to buy frames for the names I have completed.

Just going to go back through the posts and see what you have all been up to.....
