  • Still working on the pirate ship (back stitch) but i did get a new kit today -van goghs starry night. As i am such a geek i am going to see whether i can put the Tardis somewhere in there

Oh I keep looking at that one. One day may be when I can work out where it will go. Colours downstairs would be totally wrong I think and Sleeping Beauty takes up wall space in the bedroom. Could alway repaint downstairs so that it co-ordinates with that (:shhh: don't tell DH)

Started Boofle with ponsettia last night but didn't get very far with it. Woke early this morning but I don't think the eyes were awake enough to stitch.

    Have a lovely Sunday.

    Been awake since 5.20am :(

Woke up with mouth ulcers yesterday (which I rarely get), had the snuffles all day and by 8pm last night felt really rough. Throat felt like I was trying to eat razor blades so went to bed.

Woke up at stupid a clock today and feel a bit better but not 100%.

So I've done a load of washing which is outside, be amazed if it dries though. I've done all the ironing, put a load of veg with some curry paste in the slow cooker to make into soup for lunches this week and had me breakfast. Only thing left to do is make the bed but cat's asleep on it so I'm leaving that for now ;)

Think it's stitching time for me now :D

Hope everyone else is feeling ok and has a nice sunday x
  • pm - hope you feel better soon. Definitely time to reward yourself with some stitchy time.

off topic but my joint of roast beef is missing its instructions :undecided - its 1.662kg in weight and I want to cook it well done - can anyone give me any pointers for cooking time? and also how long is it best to rest for??

pm - what is it with cats and bed? my cat always likes snoozing on our bed - usually taking up residence when we get up of a morning.

I hope you feel better today. my dentist recommends corsodyl for first aid for teeth - not sure if it would be any good for your mouth ulcers? ouch - poor you :(

stitchy time/audio book/trying to cook roast today (don't do it very often) and may be housework. have a lovely day all xxx

thanks guys, unfortunately I now seem to have a constantly running tap instead of a nose and feel like carp...think any stitching I had planned today will be put on hold for now....but I managed to finish panda before I gave up :T

Both my cats love my bed but boy cat will only sleep on it when I'm there aswell, my girl cat just doesn't want to miss out on nap time!

  • Mrs Ceejay - The peacock is lovely. I love all the colours.

pm2326 - Mouth ulcers are horrible. I also use corsodyl but if its too nippy then bonjella is very soothing. Hope you feel better soon. Although I wish I was a productive as you when I couldn't sleep at 5am:p

I have finished stitching a few Christmas cards that need to be made up but not much else apart from that. I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so spending a lot of time back and forth to the hospital for various appointments:(

On a positive note there is a new puppy on our farm. A little Jack Russell called Pip. He is tiny and adorable, he lives in my mums house so I get cuddles and then get to hand him back:D
