Oh no I have stitched Rudolph but I haven't got around to making him up yet. Was hoping to have a little bit of a making up session over the weekend.
The photos/book seems a brilliant idea for Mum. Hope you have a lovely day with her.
Took Soulie's pic down to my s-i-l's tonight and just got a few little bits left to do now and then the making up of course.
Have a day off tomorrow from hospital visiting and I have made so many plans for all the things that have been ignored all week (housework, shopping, xmas stitching) - knowing my luck they will still be left undone at the end of the weekend.
Hope you all manage some quality stitching time.

Afternoon
Haven't done much stitching today as had to catch up on housework this morning and then mum came round.
But good news is I've managed to finish my exchange piece :j Only one teeny weeny problem...I going to have to do another one as I love it so much :rotfl: just hope the recipient feels the same!
It looks like panda will be finished this weekend, have a bit of backstitch left to do then just needs washed and ironed. Then I get to start on elvis and my UFO.
Hope everyone's having a good day x0 -

Oh I like that mrs ceejay :T
Exchange piece done - just to make up that is. Soulie's card is stitched - to be made up.
Will try to take a couple of pics tomorrow (not the exchange one) :rotfl:
Just found out we are not hospital visiting tomorrow - woo hoo thats two days in a row. I should really be doing other stuff but I have just been pottering about with stitchy stuff and having a little bit of a tidy of my stash (the stuff that is in a magazine rack down the side of my sofa as there was a serious overflow problem going on
Keep stitching everyone and keep warm.

I've not quite had the relaxing day I had planned for today but its been enjoyable and I'm looking forward to relaxing on the sofa later and having a stitchy day tomorrow. I was a bit disappointed when I made a special trip by train to stock up on my favourite sweet chilli sauce :rotfl:only to find the shop didn't have any in stock ! but all was not lost when I spotted one bottle lurking in the window and on my return home, I did a detour to the shops and picked up a £65 coat for just £15 :T
I hope everyone is well and looking forward to a stitchy evening with strictly/x factor/or film/comedy night in our case.0 -

Have just finished my picture, one from golden kite so took a few years! Still waiting for threads to come through the post to start the next one, so I am getting everything else ready, one thing I do is get card and hole punch next to the thread symbol.i have read on the golden kite forums that you can get a hole puch that makes a rectangular shape for ribbon.has anyone seen one of thes punches? The one I use makes a small circle and I think a rectangular shaped one such as you get on the cards in kits will be much more suitable for blended threads. All I can seem to find is shaped punches for card work.thanks for any help.0
