Design Works - Frog Pile kit.

I bought this ages ago but have only got round to start sewing. I've done a daft thing - I photocopied the pattern to enlarge it but must have left the original on the photocopier. I've got the enlarged pattern and I'd already sorted out the thread so I have the thread numbers and the pattern but not the key which shows which symbol is for which thread - when enlarging the pattern, the key got missed off.

Does anyone have one of these? If so, could you PM me a copy of the key? Thanks.

I'm not sure if any of you subscribe or buy cross stitcher but I have wonky aida in my free kit (the gift tags)(new mag out today?) plus thread that has an inexplicable knot in the middle ?! The designs are cute - so I suspect I will use my own stash. Think its about time I cancelled my subscription.

My exchange project has been coming along - need to get a move on with it though so its ready in time for posting date.

I've closed the page since I read the replies earlier - so I can't remember who asked me about listening to audio books - I have a subscription with audible - I flirt between their one book/two book a month membership (£7.99/£14.99). But I also take advantage of their special offers It is expensive but I mainly use it for new books that cost more to buy. I only buy the unabridged versions - some narrators, paul Thornley and the person who narrates the Jo Nesbo books are excellent.

i've also hired radio plays from the library - they are very good too.

Sorry but I can't help you with that. You could try e-mailing Design Works themselves if nobody else can help you.

I only subscribe to WOXS (so far :o) and haven't had any issues with their free kits. It was me who was asking about the audio books. Thanks for the info. I have had a wee look at their website and it is only £3.99 for first 3 months, so I may give it a try. There are quite a few books on their website that I would like to 'read':D. I haven't read any of Jo Nesbo so far but my dad has and really liked them, must add them to my 'to read' list.

In all honesty, that, and the change in direction of the magazine is what made me cancel my subscription a while back after being a dedicated subscriber for 10+ years :(

Quick question, in the past when I've finished a piece I've applied interfacing to the back of it before framing as I feel it protects the stitches and also seems to make the fabric a but stiffer.

    Does anyone else using interfacing?

ps........I'm itching to start on elvis!

Now completed two pieces that could be used for the exchange. Which to use????

Been on Pinterest and found the following. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/128211920611381734/. Do you think it would be okay to stitch in memory of Soulie? Still not sure what we are doing with them, does anyone have an address to send them to and a real name?

BEG - your 12 days of Christmas is lovely.

    Lovely picture Ailsb.

    Soulie tribute details

Please stitch anything you wish, candle, heart, winnie the pooh or anything else you feel is appropriate.

A flickr group has been set up to post pictures on, http://www.flickr.com/groups/2410727@N23/ We will then link these to her facebook page.

I do have funeral directors details, so we could send via them if you wish.

Some brief details - Joanna, aged just 35. She had one son

Thanks JCS1. Have sent a request - hope I've done it right. :o

Managed to get bs done on exchange piece very early this morning - just need to make it up now.

Found a chart I think is appropriate for Soulie so I have made a little start on that tonight.

Still ferrying backwards and forwards to hospital so just trying to catch up when I can.

    Take care everyone.

I did this to the Lets Do Wine Cushion as I thought it would give it a bit more protection and firmness and it appeared to do the trick.

On the instructions for 12 Days of Xmas it told you to use it.

    Good luck.

I'm struggling to find a design for Soulie, tried searching for sympathy cards but then not sure if religious, tried "thinking of you" cards but nothing I like, tried heart designs, but nothing that really took my eye.

Will hope for inspiration over the weekend.

Bed for me, by time get in from work and feed various animals, I'm shattered.
