Just read the tragic news about Soulie. I cannot begin to imagine the anguish of her parents going through another loss
Thank you Chicky for letting us know even though it isn't pleasant to be the bearer of such sad news. hope you can pop in again on a happier occasion
Happy to take part in whatever tribute we decide is most appropriate in the hope that it may bring some small comfort to her family to know that she had so many online friends0 -
Only just read about the tragic news about Soulie, so very sorry for her family. I'm a bit lost for words.
She will be missed:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Im looking for a chart or kit that has cartoon ducks in a row in a bathroom there is a saying with it that goes if you sprinkle when you tinkle please be neat and wipe the seat.
I hope you can help me track it down.
Many thanks
I think it may be this one?
I can only find it on completed items on ebay, have you set up a search on there with keywords so it emails you daily when matching items are added?0 -
I can't stop thinking about Soulie and her family, think it may be because our ages are so similar, makes you realise your own mortality.
Sending hugs to everyone x0 -
I'm very sorry to hear about Soulie.
I didn't 'know' her as she must have stopped posting before I joined the cafe but, from all your posts, she was obviously a treasured member and meant a lot to many of you.
My thoughts are with her family and everyone else privileged to have known her.

So so sorry to hear about Soulie, I didn't really know her but read her posts and she replied to a few on mine. The news just took my breath away last night makes you realise just how short life can be and to make the most of every day.
Lovely to see Chickywiggle in the cafe, such a shame her brief return was to break bad news to all of you who really knew and cared for Soulie.

I lost my Mum to cancer nearly 10 years ago when she was 52 and I was 32, I can honestly say I have and will never get over it but the thought of loosing my children fills me with absolute fear.
I cannot even begin to think how Soulie's parents will be feeling and can only hope they have lots of love and support from family and friends at this incredibly tragic time.0 -

Also a reminder not to skip your smear tests. I was terrified about having one and refused to until Jade Goody died. I realised then that I can, and does, hit young people and can take someone's life so quickly. I stupidly thought it would just stop you having kids, which I wasn't concerned about. I didn't know how serious it was. After Jade died from cervical cancer, I booked my first smear, forced myself to go through with it and when the three years was up, booked my second one. I hate it and feel so embarrassed but then I think of the alternative, so I grit my teeth and get on with it. Sorry if I'm nagging, but sometimes us girls put things off when we really shouldn't!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Such sad news about Soulie. Was very upset when saw it on fb last night.
Got my reminder for smear test this morning so will phone and book on Monday. Having already had cancer once I am at high risk of it again so do everything the Dr tells me.
On a happier note we are off to Whitstable tonight to see Hazel O'Connor in concert. We plan to drive down early for dinner first but the weather is shocking today so will need a Brolly!Cross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -
Hello Girls,
Sorry I have not said much, I am just in shock with the news of Soulie. I feel bad for her partner and kids and her parents if they are still alive - I just can't remember if they are. I remember her asking us all to help find her brother when he went missing.
Sorry this is so short - kind wishes to all
