Would just like to add my condolences, didn't really get to know Soulie like some of you did but it's such sad news0

Very sad to hear the news about Soulie. Thank you for letting everyone know Chicky. I would be able to make a heart or candle tribute in memory of Soulie. Is there a timescale/deadline for the pieces and will they be posted or photographed and put on a website/flickr page?0

I am so sorry to hear about Soulie. My heart goes out to her family. I hope everyone else in the cafe is well. I'll catch up soon.

Hi sorry to bother any one but i was hoping you guys can help me, I've never done this before.
Im looking for a chart or kit that has cartoon ducks in a row in a bathroom there is a saying with it that goes if you sprinkle when you tinkle please be neat and wipe the seat.
I hope you can help me track it down.
Many thanks0 -

such a great time for freeloading newbies who clearly have not set foot in the cafe before to be posting requests, typical of why I left to begin with. :mad:loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Chicky, I agree with you but this is the first time since the summer that someone has asked, I think it's just really bad timing. I think we will always get people popping in asking. I know it's hard but we need to look beyond these type of requests and think about the online friendships that the cafe brings.
If it wasn't for the likes of you and the other staunch members of the forum there are so many of us that would be in a bad place right now. I'm not really sure how to word what I fel wihtout either sounding twee or commending so I'm going to leave it at this. However I do want to say that there are more genuisne people here than not.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Hi, you need to know that we have just heard of the sad loss of one of our regular cafe members and friend Soulie, so this probably isn't the best time to be popping into the cafe. Also, jusf a reminder that whilst we are happy to share ideas and progress we can only pass charts on that we no longer need, copies are not allowed under copywriting law.
Having said the above about copies I'm not sure if you were asking for a copy so I'm going to assume you were just after some help. I have spent a few minutes googling and can't find anything suitable. Have you thought about finding a duck pattern you like and adding the words yourself?Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Think you got a little confused
Its me with BD and I promise you will all see eyes before the year is out
Ayeshalush is stuck with SB (sleeping beauty) on a dodgy frame.
Just trying out evenweave for the first time and I love it, it was a bit strange at first going over 2 squares but I like the finished result better. It didn't help that its a wee snowman design so stitching white on whiteI bought a massive piece of 18 ct aida for my HAED design but I think i'll swap it for evenweave and do 1 over 1 as stated, more chance of finishing it this lifetime :rotfl:
Evenweave is great especially for designs where a lot of the fabric will remain on show
Great progress on BD0
