Hello everyone

Have been so busy that I have just been scanning the posts without taking the time to reply.

This month we have an 18th, a 30th and a 50th birthday (this one I am responsible for organising and hosting) plus it is the start of our busiest period at work so late nights and weekend working are included. All of which means that stitching time is at a premium.

Have made more progress with my SB stocking and some progress with my exchange piece. I think I will struggle to do very much more than finish these 2 this month.

But I know I'm not alone - it's a busy time for most of us.

sweetcarer hope your Mum continues to make progress. Have you heard anything about Soulie recently?

Loving all the updates even if I haven't mentioned them all

Hope everyone has a good weekend including some quality stitching time

Ladies, can any of you recommend a good craft lamp at all please? It needs to be floor standing as I don't have anywhere to put a table style lamp.

Oh thank you fos. I have marked this and I am going to use them when I have my big sort out during 2014 of all my stitching stuff inc threads. Will have to see if I can find an Anchor one now.

Sounds as though you have been really busy but I bet you have had a lovely time with all those celebrations.

Had intended to stitch a little bit of exchange piece this afternoon but I just don't know where the spare time has gone (mainly stuck on laptop I think). Off out to s-in-l's tonight so hopefully I will manage some stitching over the weekend.

I'm sorry but this is unrelated to stitching - I hope you don't mind.... I want to replace my (wrist support) mouse mat and also replace my wrist support which sits in front of my keyboard. I only did this last year but both are now really manky and I really think its time they were consigned to the bin! Has anyone any recommendations?
