    Afternoon ladies,

I've been stitching on and off since 8am, but I'm having a break for a bit as back starting to ache.

Weather hasn't been too bad here (northumberland) had some rain and it's a bit windy but no storm as yet...no doubt it'll be raging by 7am tomorrow when I leave for work!

Just realised I have a few days off this week as need to use hols up so guess who'll be stitching quite a bit this week :T:T:T:T

    Anyway, here's the panda update:

I *think* I have started my xmas exchange stitch. I may still change my mind though depending on how what I'm stitching turns out! I haven't managed very much today - certainly not as much as I had hoped. I haven't felt able to relax today and I feel all agitated.
I can also feel a headache brewing so not sure how much I will get done this evening. :( I'm hoping the storm passes without leaving too much devastation in its wake. I'm getting worried now. stay safe peeps x

    Hello Girls

Sorry I have been missing in action over last couple of weeks but been very busy with work and the Rural (Scottish Womens Rural Institute). Been at a area group meeting (where I entered a couple of competitions - see below for more), the Scottish finals for "matter of opinion" - I was part of the team representing our area - we didn't win but we had a good laugh and a nice trip up north, to Stonehaven.

The area group meeting I entered a couple of competitions, which one was make a Christmas decoration with polystyrene. I did good - I got second place - the woman who got first is an amazing crafter and is well known for it.

Here is my wee christmas pudding in sequin and pins - (this is why I didn't have a cross stitch up date last week).

    So onto my updates -

Got the details for the Christmas exchange - now to put my thinking cap of what to do.

Hope everyone is well, I am as well as I can be. Only working a 3 day week this week - got Halloween off like all us good witches :)

Keep well till next time (loving all your updates and hard work)

Well the wind is howling here...hence the early post.

Down to my last teabag so will have to venture out at some point this morning for supplies :o

Received my exchange details so will crack on with that today.

Hope everything is okay where everyone else is.

I hope everyone has survived the storms.

I almost got up an hour early today as I forgot to change the clock on my mobile phone which I use as an alarm clock so when it went off this morning, I was on the verge of getting up when I noticed the bedside clock said 4am something !!!!!!

I had hoped that the nice prime minister (or whoever has authority in such matters) would declare today stitchy/kindle day and order us all back to bed. but sadly I've not seen any news reports of this nature so stitchy time today will be somewhat limited. :(

    Stay safe all x
