well so much for getting an extra hour's sleep this morning....I've been awake since 3.20am!
But since getting up and finding there's nothing worth watching on TV that early, I've defrosted the freezer  and done another load of washing
Only have hoovering to do but that can wait, dont think new neighbours will appreciate the noise this early.
So seeing as I've been such an active bunny, I'm getting the stitching out for a few hours0 -
Its a shame the clocks can't go back every week and the lost hour be designated stitchy hour.
I feel I've had a lie in this morning and yet its only 9am :T
Pfff back to the drawing board for the xmas exchange project, the threads I bought yesterday do not match ! I thought I was being clever but clearly not!
I don't really have any plans for today but do need to hoover when it is a more acceptable time of day ! and I have lots of washing to do. I shall probably have a nose through the tv guide and see if there are any suitable films/poirots I can sit and stitch to this afternoon.0 -
tmif - wow...it's beautiful!!! I love it :T How long did that take you to make?
About a week I think - you can do the crochet bit while watching tv (like x-stitch) but the lining took a few hours and some sneaky maths.
I had to use some GCSE maths for the first time in <cough> years... the circumference of a circleand the sewing machine. Multiskilling at it's very best.
Who said crafts weren't educational as well as fun!!
It's done though, and I like it0 -
to if. Gorgeous bag. I've never managed to master crochet. My Mum kept insisting it was easy but it wasn't to me. Beautiful colours
pinkandfluffy. Glad you found something to start you stitching again. I've stitched an Elizabeth Stuart design with 2 old fashioned girls and a cat in the snow and I love it
pmyou definitely deserve some stitching time today
fe agree that we should have an extra hour stitchy time regularly I stayed up to 2 am stitching a birthday card and it was wonderful that as I went to bed the clock had changed to 1.10
Not looking forward to this storm that is forecast. Hope everyone stays safe0 -

I've sent details of the Exchange to all participants. If I haven't specified you can stitch a card or a coaster or an ornament
The aim is to post our completed card/coaster/ornament on Sat 30th Nov or Mon 2 Dec.
Please take a photo of the finished article and post in our Flickr account the first week in Dec so everyone in the Cafe can see our efforts. But please no progress pics before then to maintain the surprise0 -

On a Sunday too, what a waste of a lie in
I know how you feel though - one night week I couldn't sleep so I got up and scrubbed the fridge at 5am :eek:Its a shame the clocks can't go back every week and the lost hour be designated stitchy hour.
I think you're on to something there!!:Ttellmeitsfriday wrote: »
