<---That's me gobsmacked that anyone could possibly get rid of all their stash

Any suggestions I made would be the same as those mentioned by FOS, I agree a kit would be best :) :T

  • Hi everyone

Another long night with no sleep but at least got a bit more stitching done.

ive been doing Christmas cards and using metallic threads for the first time, never again! The end effect is nice but they were a nightmare to work with

Think everyone was busy stitching last night!

I went out shopping for jeans yesterday morning. Bought the first pair I tried on in the first shop but was still exhausted when we got home. But after procrastinating for a few hours decided to start this

    http://www.thehappycross-stitcher.com/product.php?xProd=8438

Had it in my stash for I don't know how long, I sorted threads a month ago so it was ready to go. Unfortunately it's on 14 count Aida and there are lots of fractional but didn't have any even weave big enough and was inpatient to start ;) Will back stitch each bit as I finish it as no way am I doing it all at the end.

Hope everyone finds lots of stitching time at the weekend.

It certainly didn't scare me off :D

I have CFS and yesterday I had a couple of things which needed doing and one of them was shopping so it wiped me out for the whole day and I didn't even pick up my stitching

Going to try and get lots done this weekend though.

Tricksie - that is a beautiful design, can't wait to see pictures
  • louise. We had a power cut so when the lights came back on I just wanted to stitch :D

ailsb. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Paris. Was browsing the blacksheepwools site having mentioned in a previous post and saw 2 Paris kits and immediately thought of you http://www.blacksheepwools.com/clearance.html?cat=1592&p=9

Also in their clearance section there are quite a few nice baby samplers including Tatty Teddy
I am tempted by the tinkerbell clock for gd

    tricksie. Lovely detailed sampler

Salfordgirl sorry to hear about your insomnia. Agree with your comments about metallic threads

    Have a good weekend everyone

Today isn't going to be the stitchy relaxing day I want it to be. :( I've missed being able to stitch during the evenings - last night I hoped to do some but I could barely keep my eyes open.

Planning on some stitchy time tomorrow!
